Was wondering which would be better.
Ecm, or reinforced blast doors..?

Its situational, really. Depending what you face, Both can shine or be absolutely useless. If you fear Getting one-shotted then go with ecm. If bombers, blast doors.
Blast doors would also give you more utility if you plan on double tapping with engine techs. That is a very useful tool.
I like Blast Doors. It's very handy if you have Engine Techs (and you should on a Demolisher) and APT's as a ship will often have one or two hull left after you attack. Ramming is then viable and BD gives you back those 2 damage (plus one more)
This tactic is often frowned upon by your opponent, but since Rogue One clearly exhorts it as an Imperial doctrine, I see it as perfectly acceptable....
Thanks guys. I knkw I'm odd, normally my demo is pretty naked. Demo. Apt. And that's it. Lol
I've used a Demolisher with the following build, and had a LOT of success with it.
Gladiator I-Class Star Destroyer (56 points)
- Demolisher ( 10 points)
- Intel Officer ( 7 points)
- Ordnance Experts ( 4 points)
- Engine Techs ( 8 points)
- Expanded Launchers ( 13 points)
= 98 total ship cost
If you can secure the initiative with a big bid, then you can triple tap enemy ships, make them burn their brace, then roll on out before they even retaliate, and do a LOT of damage.
Meanwhile, you keep your strongest side to them with 3 shields.
Edited by n00bzilla99I'll admit I'm a bit confused. How do you triple tap with Demo?
Last / first activation, activate Demo last, move and shoot, next round activate first and double arc or move 1 then take a second shot.
Are you asking which is better to put on a Demolisher, or which is better to defend against Demolisher? Because Demo can't use those upgrades
They can with Minister Tua.
I assumed in my answer that Tua was in play.
Correct. With Tua.
Thanks for the help emsgoof.
