I've not flown much scummy with the exception of Star Vipers, Sycks and Karaxeraxers....but I just purchased a Mist Hunter; ideas?? hehehe
So I finally got a Mist Hunter...
The Mist Hunter is an odd duck. It's been compared to the B-Wing, but I feel like it flies very differently, for all that it has a similar dial, etc. It sort of wants to be a slow-rolling Ace, I think. I like to monkey around with 4-LOM, Palob, and a torpedo Scout. TLT, Zuckuss, and Wired on Palob, flying close to 4-LOM to eat his stress, and the Scout just flanking around for that perfect shot. The 4-LOM build hasn't really shaken out yet (too many options really, all good), but the general combination is fun and tricksy without being trollsome.
4LOM and Zuckuss can be fun, especially with FCS and the Mist Hunter title. Look on YouTube also, there was recently a regional event won by a list with 3 Gand Findsmen.
This ship I just started to use, and am using a list of three of these to be a "ringer" list if there is an odd number of players at a tournament. I usually run the tournaments at my FLGS. Without any further delay, here is the list:
4-LOM: PTL, FCS, Stygium Particle Accelerator, Zuckuss, Mist Hunter, Cloaking Device, Tractor Beam
Gand Findsman: Wingman, FCS, Outlaw Tech
Gand Findsman: Wingman, FCS, Outlaw Tech
Basicly, I run the two Gand Findsman together in a formation, that way they can do the K-turns, get a focus, and remove stress to perform any maneuver next. 4-LOM, he runs close by, maybe a bit away. I just enjoy SPA with Cloaking Device, why not get the free evade token. I usually only cloak when I need to avoid an obsticle, or, I know he is about to get targeted pretty heavy. Like I said, this is just a fun list, not a tier 1 level list, but I have won with it more often than I thought I should have.
I like Zuckuss pilot with Dengar crew. The extra attack die with a focus and Dengar really adds up to a lot of damage.
Last regio in Poland was won by Mist Hunter so you know...
as i recall it was Zuckuss with Attani, Outlaw, FCS and Title accompanied by Fenn and interestind variation of Manaroo (dont recall the build exacly)

I also love me a bit of Mist Hunter, it's a really nice little ship, once you get the hang of it. I've recently been working on a variant of one of my favourite Scum Lists that uses the Mist Hunter in it, I'm shamelessly cashing in on the current Attanni Mindlink meta here. Currently it looks like this:

The plan here is that Manaroo does Manaroo things, get focus or target lock, pass it over at the start of combat & use the Attanni Mindlink Circle Jerk to get a focus back. However if you want to use Manaroo as a BumpMaster, which I really do, having BoShek gives you awesome options for messing with peoples flight plans.
The Gand Findsman is actually a pretty dangerous combination, the Slicer Tools and Advanced Sensors give you a great mix of things you can do to people and lets you really mess with the order of things, also a good pick for a secondary focus action if Manaroo is Target Locking instead of Focusing. Dengar as a Crew as well makes you a good named pilot hunter.
Kavil is actually my star pick here, the Engine Upgrade gives him lots of positioning options and with his ability and the Dorsal Turret he can take a 4 dice range 1 shot out of arc, ouch. The Unhinged Astromech is a hold over from the previous version of this build that had PTL on Kavil, I'm not sure if I want to keep it as I'm not going to be stressing as much, in fact I was toying with taking it off and instead putting Burn Out SLAM onto Manaroo, in case I needed to drastically re-position.
Even having some success with it, I've always found that it was too pricey point-wise for how quickly it died (almost immediately and sometimes before shooting with the lower PS ships)
