The only problem I see with that is people wanting it to become like battletech

roll for which area you hit, now roll for which crit etc ....

i do agree that would be simplest fix I just don't want to see it cause I've been part of to many BT games where you are comparing charts forever lol

No real argument here.

The EPIC ships may have their own little damage decks but how often are you fielding more than one of those in your squadron? And in that case if you've got space for the epic finding space for a few more cards shouldn't be all that hard not to mention that epics face some slightly different rules and because of that need slightly different damage decks.
