What's everyone's Quad lists? I want something competitive, not necessarily quote on quote "Fun."

It sounds like conventional wisdom is to keep them cheap, either the gunrunner or Unkar. Spacetug Tractor Array is an auto include, pattern analyzer is probably next priority. If you have the points, the cloaking device illicit helps give it a bit of extra mobility on the initial engagement.
That's 17 to 23 points, whatever fits into the rest of your list.
I tried Unkar+Tug+Ketsu last weekend, thats 20 points and that was the limit i was willing to spend on it. Rest of my list aside (it sucked) and my flying this event (it sucked even more
) thats what i can say, lets start with cons:
- its slow. Really not that easy to setup this R1 tug against anything. Bumping was easier option due to BR but it required some fancy flying too (my breaking point was when i setup great bump for Fenn with a BR and he stopped like 1mm before....)
-its a crit magnet, sometimes you know you will survive this round but you get some nasty crit like no acitons or red turns and your plan goes to hell..
-Ketsu was used 1 or 2 times during 5 rounds of swiss so....
-when you move after your targets, good luck cathing them..
And the good things:
+when you manage to catch someone he can be in a world of pain. I managed to kill shieldless Ryad with Unkar just by taking big rocks and cathing her one single time. Then turn after turn she was on a rock until she died.
+reverse in nice little trick. I forgot that something called pattern analyzer exists (yes yes i was a frakking vegetable when creating my list) so reverse into tug was a no go for me, but i had multiple occasions to do this trick
+its pretty durable. Of course 1 round of focused fire can kill it, but no one is focusing fire on it.
So its biggest drawback is thats its so painfully slow , but if you manage to catch someone it does the trick pretty nice.
What can i say? If i would fly it again (and i thing i will, just no idea in what list) for sure i would go with Unkar+Tug+PA (21 points).
I've used Jakku Gunrunner with Spacetug & EMP Device with good success. It has nice support role and can really cause mayhem if ignored. If opponent focus on it and gun it down... oh well, it was cheap anyway

You need it to reverse + Barrel Roll or Tug someone. And that is one usefull combo.
