Page 58 - Reinforced Gauntlets , 2 HP armor mod - however skill is listed as melee, shouldn't this be brawl. Has anyone checked this out.

Erm… what page? 58 in my copy has starships.
Page 58 in my book is the page for the Fang fighter. There isn't a reinforced gauntlet in my book.

I am thinking the developers must have some reasoning for it - maybe reinforced gauntlets are just too bulky to be considered a Brawl weapon - but as GM I would rule it would be Brawl rather than Melee.

I.m fairly sure there wasn't , although I don't listen, I remember the episode and at the time I was looking for an item like that and would have remembered the question, I'll have a not listen to it again.
just listened to the order 66 podcast, and there is no mention of this attachment in it. I've submitted a support question, hope it doesnt take too long to get an answer.
I am keen to know this too. I have just added these to my Gadgeteer's armour under the assumption it would be a Brawl check.
Gloves and Knuckles use Brawl so it would make sense these would too.
The Refined Cortosis Gauntlets are Brawl too, so there is a precedence for Gauntlets to use Brawl.
