Alright, so after flying (with relatively little success) version 1.0 of this list, I've decided to switch things up a bit and throw in Miranda instead of my beloved Corran Horn, who I have more or less shelved at this point for the foreseeable future...
For those unaware, Version 1.0 consisted of:
Corran Horn- PtL, FCS, R2-D2, Engine (48)
Biggs- R4-D6, Integrated (26)
Heff Tobber- Pivot Wing, Zeb, Chopper, Tactical Jammer (26)
This build looked alright on paper when I originally built it, but it just never quite "clicked" for me. Heff could get blocked by lower PS ships, making his ability relatively useless for large periods of a match and Biggs tends to die fairly quicky in that list despite Tactical Jammer on Heff. I also happened to be experimenting with a Miranda + Corrran list at the time of Version 1.0s failure, so I figured why not combine the 2 lists! Thus, 2.0 was born.
Miranda- TLT, EM, Homing Missiles, Chopper, LRS (42)
Biggs- R2-D2, Integrated (29)
Heff- Enhanced Scopes, Zeb, Jynn Erso, Pivot Wing, Tactical Jammer (29)
As much as I love Corran, I just can't help but feel Miranda's Homing Missiles + TLT are better for damage output. Biggs has R2-D2 because with tactical jammer on Heff, he is almost always rolling at least 3 greens and can have up to 4 focus tokens via Jynn Erso and his action, so R4-D6 probably wouldn't give me much value in this list. I can also afford to fit both Enhanced Scopes and tactical jammer on Heff in this build to ensure Heff is always moving first to trigger his ability.
What do you guys think? Could this build be decent in the current meta and what do you think are it's weaknesses?
