There were a couple of things that came up during our last session that I wanted to check.

1) if Nanok as skirmisher uses his heroic feat, can he use the unrelenting skill after his attack in the 3 attack sequence?

2) Shield of the dark gods relic - let's say I have brown/grey defence pool. I roll one shield brown and blank grey. I then exhaust the shield and roll blank brown and 3 gray. Whats my total defence, 3 shields or 4 shields? I.e. Do I accept the best total result (the second roll) or the best individual dice (being the one brown and three grey).

Being a technological caveman I don't know how to insert card images for reference, sorry!

1) yes, it still counts as an attack so anything that triggers off an attack can still be done.

2) 3, you keep the best result of either the original roll (of both dice) or the final roll (of both dice).

Thanks. As I expected. Am I right in saying with the shield you could elect to leave the brown on 1 shield and just reroll the gray?

Yes, you can do that.

"Better" here refers to the sum of all dice rolled.

Dice1= 1 shields, Dice2= 3 shields; sum = 4 shields

chose to reroll Dice1, result 0 shields, thus

Dice1= 0 shields, Dice2= 3 shields; sum = 3 shields

Keep 4 shields as this is the better result.
