Hey, I think you should look at this post they had some great pics in this thread showing the unit cards really well with fronts and backs. Some of the upgrades are lense-flared out but you can see the point costs really well on all of them. It may be out of date though, I think its from last year at conventions.

Yes I saw them really useful helped me to complete the tables.

So as people might have already noticed, my list is completely legal due to ardus his list building passive.

I got al the point values from page 3 of the rules from team covenant tread.

I wanted to do the same thing for daqar but a lot of upgrades were unreadable due to glare.

@jek you can't run heartseeker on both carrion lancers because most likely it's a unique upgrade

That's why i made a single group.

I'm keen to try out multiple single carrion lancers (3 or 4) and use them for mass guaranteed blight, then big chunks of 3x2 regenerative infantry to grind things down, out-trading them by spending blight tokens on the enemy to remove attack dice, then regenerating lost dudes. Ardus on his own will be a fantastic disruptor and will go for the Rune Golems/hero. With access to blight tokens AND the Carrion Lancer's ability to spend blight to deal a mortal wound, he will be quite a force.

The hordes of the undead will prevail!

Interesting, i was wondering if playing two carrion lancers together was a viable strategy but having the two of them acting as separate units.

What do you think you will do right on the start ? going on with one or multiple core sets ? I for myself am in a position to go with two core sets right in the beginning to have enough trays and minis to form a good army and try multiple tactics as discussed on this forum. There has been a post saying that the writer had ordered three core sets right from the start... hum... three isn't that a bit of a toss for us undeads players ?

I wish I could afford to by multiple sets. I think I'm going to buy one to theorycraft on, and wait to buy another when the price point comes down in another year or so if they release a Core 2 (Uth v Lat). Hopefully the infantry xpac will come out soon, I think we will need to buy one or two of those for faction-unique cards that really develop the roles of our infantry like unit titles or upgrades

I, for myself have skipped many things to spare some money for this very game. But I'm still on the fence nonetheless. I think I'll go on two core sets but nothing for sure.

My main question as now is the cards... Yes, curiously I have some questions about them. Like if I buy two core sets, I will have two copies of the same upgrades (for instance), will i be able to equip two separate units with the same upgrade card (like "Master-crafted weapons) ? Will there be a particular toss in buying multiple core set (like unique cards that may only appear one time in your army) regarding the game cards ?

While buying two core sets will allow to be able to align all the terrains there again...two sided terrains are a bit of a toss to me... would you know that to align all the various terrains included in the core set you have to buy two...and then again you would be unsatisfied to no be able to align everything... Ok It's time to stop joking, 3D terrains will be made by players but still. I think that single sided terrains would have been nice for those like who are not used at all to make their own stuff from scratch or so.

2 points.

1.) Only certain upgrade cards are unique, so as long as you have a slot and points most upgrades will be seen more than once in a list.

2.) double sided terrain means you only need one terrain deck and that terrain is cheaper.

Ok guys time to refresh this necropolis a bit. And therefore, I've got...what ? A question of course ! :D

So Our beloved Ardus Ix'Erebus... what do we know exactly about him that goes beyond what it is written in Descent's"Mist of Bilehall" Rule book ? Because it doesn't help a lot to read that. Was he with Waiqar when this one besieged Timmorran's tower ? Or has He been recruited long after that ? it seems that Waiqar's curse occurred long time before the "actual" context of Runewars minis so, I don't know if other games than Descent ?
