Asajj, Slaver and Unkar walks into a bar..wave X regio list

By Vitalis, in X-Wing Squad Lists

So im toying with some lists for regionals tomorrow and since it is first wave X event i have empty mind...After looong mindstorm i came up with this:

Asajj + PtL + EU + Lats - min-max but its all Asajj needs to shred.

Slaver + Dengar + 4lom + Zuckuss -good old party bus.

Unkar + Spacetug Tractor Array + Ketsu - tractors all around! He is designed only to soften that one crucial target for Assaj and Slaver. Costing 20 points i consider him expendable :P

Any thoughts? I could strip up to 3 points (Unkar > generic, no Ketsu)for some more swag on Assaj (Title for even more tractors? So slaver could possibly shot at -2 target) or Dampeners on Slaver .

I'll be running a nearly identical list on the 18th this month, with the sole change being that I have Fenn (PTL, Autothrusters, title) instead of the party bus. What I've found so far:

1. Asajj is perfect with the above build. If there's ever a point to spare BMST is good, but not crucial.
2. Unkar > generic. I've dealt 3 tractor beam tokens in one turn with him (tractor action, force two bumps), and made my opponent keep two of them with Ketsu. It's a fantastic build and, if your opponent does go for Unkar first they're leaving the hard to kill Asajj for last.
3. I can't comment on the slaver (not my thing), but it is a tool against aces, which is Asajj's vulnerability.

The only downside I can see to your list is that a smart opponent will focus Asajj down, leaving you with two ships that are very easy for any ace to solo once they get behind. If you want the zuckuss shenanigans, I'd advise the following instead of the party bus:

4-LOM (34)
Fire Control System
Feedback Array
Tractor Beam
Zuckuss
Crack Shot
Mist Hunter

It gives you the same power in a more maneuverable frame. It also gives you some nice tricks like the tractor beam and crack shot. This gives your list 2 ways to deal out stress tokens, plus auto-damage when necessary. It costs you 4 hitpoints though, so I'm not sure if it's worth it.

That one im not afraid of- if EU is not enough to arc dodge she can turtle up with focus+evade+Lats and survive long enough for the Slaver to do his work.

Interesting but i think slaver is superior here for 3 reasons:

-Brute firepower. I tested slaver for a LONG time and as long as he can shot he pretty much always deal some dmg to even fully tokened 3 agi ship. 4-lom packs a punch too i admitt but crack is one use and that list wont alpha stike, its supposed to wear you down.

-Survival. 4 HP more like you said. And those are both 1 agi ships that will have no defensive actions for the most time.

-Utility. Slaver is big ship- cannot be tractored. Way harder to arc-dodge slaver than 4-lom. He is also pretty immune to any stress dealers.

How did you get your opponent keep 2 tractors if Ketsu only allows one target?

Spacetug > bump >2 tractors on 1 target.
