This weeks question is the following, do you not own a ship and why?

Do I need to say the reason? I think we all know the reason.

I don't own any rebel ships because it is expensive enough trying to build my imperial stuff. I don't have an interdictor yet but one of my local stores has ordered one for me.

I only purchase rebel ships for me. So far i have everything, but we've already established i have a prack addiction

I don't have the Liberty.

Just haven't bought it. And when I've meant to, it either hasn't been available, or I've not had the disposable cash.

I don't own any ships. What, do you think I'm made of money?

Even if I was, I wouldn't give away part of myself to own something I don't want. I already avoid the ocean........

Oh wait, you mean Armada ships.....

I held out on the AFM2 for the longest time. I eventually caved, but on my to-do list is replacing them with Mk. I models.

Now I have at least one of everything, though I've told myself to hold off on a second ISD. Maybe all those crazy threads about an alternative expansion pack for it are on to something.

I have multiples of every ship with the exception of the Imperial Assault Carrier/Gozanti... I'm not entirely sure why I only own one of those but 3 ISD and 4 VSD.

Well as ISD's and VSD's make excellent carriers, one could say you're already good in the carrier role.

-ponders- that actually could be quite true, Idie, mate. Hmmm... maybe because they also always struck me as more of a utility craft: something to have hanging around a planet and not in a war fleet or whatnot; they're not even a materiel transport in the same manner as a GR75. I don't know, I have at least 1 so I can run some cheap 200 point matches with a ILC and some ties à la Rebels.

Carrier support from the death wedges, murder barrages from ISD's... but I own 2 GSD's and I hate those suckers. Huh.

GSD's I can't do. I'm just inept with those things, purely and completely inept, but the Nebulon Slalom is a wonderful thing of pure joy . RAF's are one of those all-round great medium warships. They suffer from a bad case of shovel face, those fat, bloated, horrendous monsters: and between them and their replacement MK I's and MC40a's, I own 5. That was definitely a hold out ship I didn't get till some time around wave 2.

Nope...as of yesterday when my light cruiser arrived the collection is complete. I have one of everything plus an extra copy of all the ships in the core set.

I have the core set, victory, gladiator, raider, mc30, mc80, rebel squads 1, and rogues and villains. I'm slowly but surely getting more things. When I'm missing things, mcworrell usually has everything i need. the mc30 and raider have been very nice gifts. the victory was my most recent addition. I think I'm either going to get a providence class off of mel's or imp squads or the pelta. the rebs need a little help in my fleet.

I do not have a third ISD and I don't know why.

My studies show that three fit in a 400 point fleet. Good enough for me!

Hmm CC 500 fleet points...

I have the Core plus a VSD, ISD, NEB and 2 CR90s and more TIES....yeah, I'm just getting my feet wet. I'm figuring it out slowly. I'm just hoping Armada is better balanced than my first gal, X-Wing. Happy Friday!

Makes sense to me. I mean, I only play once every few months (IRL), but I definitely need the most of every ship that you could fit in a fleet (sixth raider here I come).

I own at least one of everything. I think the only thing I don't have duplicates of are the M'Lady and the Interdictor. Most things I have doubles, a few are triples.

I have to say the only reasons I've been looking at the forum lately are for the Happy Friday threads, the painting subforum, and to see if the IFF guys put a new podcast out I can listen to on the ride to work. Past that, everything feels like beating a dead horse or is just straight up speculation that stopped feeling fun some time ago.
