I know Howard was playing old fenaroo but do you have any idea of the other lists?

chase is parantini, grasser is 2 missile scouts and fenn, heaver is a 4 ship rebel build

Nope. FFG needs to hire the dude that does the Euro streams to cover all the big events. He does a fantastic job.

Honestly people should look at ThreeD6 (Canberra, AU) Twitch regional streams to see how a good stream is done.

Sort of... Have seen several of his streams where he spends 20 minutes talking about some random cable or to his buddy about random topic #7 that has nothing to do with X-wing. Meanwhile, important stuff is happening in the game and the overlay is completely and utterly out of date. Appreciate he currently does all this for free but if someone were going to actually pay him money for it...

As if it was in any way surprising that a lot of people would revert to a list that was good in the meta just before the defenders, right? ;-)

I feel like if for any list that wins a big event, a % of people will say "in hindsight" that it was obvious for it to win.

I'm not saying it was obvious that it won (that did surprise me), just that with the number of Jumpmasters purchased and played (edit: esp. here in Europe), and the fact the the FAQ dropped recently it does not surprise me people went back to that archetype.
Or maybe it's just Marcel Manzano bringing it to the forefront by doing well with it.

Mmm...more serously, nerfing a lot of top lists two weeks before some importat events brings this situation. It's natural, triple scout is a strong and safe build that will works even if you have few time to learn how to fly it.

But when a list becomes too popular, there's a problem. 3 Scouts was nerfed before, and now it come back with a different (but quite similar) setting.

The problem still here, the fix wasn't enough. Don't recognize it sounds weird to me.

Btw sorry, that came out incredibly dickish. Just annoyed a bit by people panicking over the "return of the overpowered, unbeatable, jumpmaster plague" at the moment yelling about how FFG f*cked the game with the new FAQ.
