Don't worry, no ship but a K-Wing will drop a bomb into your ace, if you know how to avoid it.
"But K-Wings" because of Adv Slam. That is nearly unblocable. Nearly.

Anyone know the details on the Biggs, Jess, ARC, TIE list that was flown at Hoth? Looked fun.

Haha I'd love to know as I proposed a list exactly like that and it got **** on by 'popular opinion'.

I've come to the conclusion that anything that isn't already a meta staple is going to get about that reception until it is proven. For example, I actually think 2 munition bombers and 2 FCS + targeting sync Tie SFs is a really strong list, but no way would I bring that up here expecting anyone to believe it.

Having recently run experiments with FCS/TS SF's, I believe it.
I've ran Quickdraw with FCS/TS, Frame, Draw Their Fire, 2 ordnance bombers and Academy TIE to good success... and it's quite fun. Being able to remove a Jumpmaster before it fires is a bonus
Hmmm? This? And it works?

I drop one of the Homing missiles down to Plasma torps, drop the tracers, and put FCS on both the Zetas. I think the early shots from the Zetas are important for getting through the damage you need to to take a ship off the board in the first round of shooting. It isn't even unreasonable to think you can take out a YV-666 in one round this way (I've done it once myself, and I'm by no means a top tier level player). I will admit though that the FCS into ordnance shots from the Bombers is a trick that may only be working for me due to the unfamiliarity with Targeting Synchronizer by a number of my opponents.
Still, I'd advise giving it a whirl and seeing what you think yourself.

I will. (Your version makes much more sense!) I sure would feel better about it if I could afford a couple of LWFs, though ...
Haven't run it yet but in a similar vein -

Am I missing something with Cal Jones' list from the Yavin open. Doesn't C-3PO not work with the Ghost?

I assume the plan is probably to stay at range 3 as much as possible.

The genius of his list is he uses Ahsoka's ability to boost the ghost to Range 3 in the combat phase if it isn't already.
Edited by Tbetts94Cal was so enthusiastic about the list on the 186th podcast, that I took it to the Stele Open after only a few test games. Went 4-2, and I was learning a lot as I played.
Imagine a Fenn Rau getting to range one during movement phase. Then Ahsoka boosting Hera to range two out of Fenns arc at the start of combat. Then Fenn getting hit by four TLT shots that are accuracy corrected. Then don't imagine this, because it is real and happened twice for me ?
Its also wonderfully thematic of the Rebels show with Hera, Ahsoka, Chopper and Zeb all in the list!
Edited by So CratesAre results for Coruscant available anywhere? Same thing happened last year where I have no idea who won, who flew what, anything.
Someone else put it best by comparing the system open to an American Idol season where the finale isn't televised and Fox doesn't bother to tell anyone the results...
Jeremy Chamblee won . He flew a striker Rexlar Brath and quickdraw vs Zach Bunn with two z-95s bb-8 poe and biggs

It hasn't been confirmed yet, but I heard the NFL isn't broadcasting the super bowl this year. They'll be sending update telegrams to stations all over the country where they'll the read aloud by men with visors and short cigars. I'm so excited!
Finally, our entertainment platforms have moved beyond the archaic motion pictures of the recent past and into the text based mediums of the 21st Century!

Unfortunately this tells us nothignab out how the game itself went, or what people flew and how games went for any of the OTHER games/rounds
Well, this is what I flew:
I was second in drafting order. We drafted empire first, so I picked the Striker. Rebels were next and I got the T-65. Finally, I got the quadjumper for Scum.
I was in the pod with Mishary, Jesus, and William. I played Mishary first, my Rebels vs his Asajj/Scout/drafted Zs, and lost. I played William next, my Empire vs his Miranda/Biggs/drafted HWK and squeaked out a win. My game with Jesus pitted my scum against his Miranda/stresshog/drafted B and I managed a win there. William won his last game, so Jesus and I were both 2-1 and I advanced on the head-to-head tiebreaker.
In the final, I banned Zach's Soontir/Vader/drafted interceptor and he banned my scum. Given the choice between my 2 lists I picked empire. He picked his Poe/Biggs/drafted Zs and that was it.
I'll do a more detailed report on the next episode of The Kessel Run
