I still don't understand how could Nathan win any game with his lists other than the surprising first. He surely is an hell of pilot to get so far in a 300+ tournament with such a combo kudos to him.

Congrats William for the win! I thought you had made a major mistake by double stressing yourself with the stressbot, but in the end Miranda was more than enought to take care of Corran! Great game!

Justin Brown's (#6) list as reported by Majorjuggler seems to be 101 points.

Ironic that for all the Parattanni wins, two of the last System Opens are won by (almost?) identical Rebel lists with Miranda/Biggs/Stresshog.

That is because 1 JM5K was a 33 pt Bumpmaster (I know, because it beat me).

I wasn't there so I have no idea, but I would assume based on him calling it a bumpmaster that one didn't have torpedoes at all

As someone who loves Imp aces, I really hate the K-Wing/Sabine bomb meta. You can fly perfectly 99% of the time, dodging arcs like a pro....then BOOM. Soontir eats **** instantly 35 points of ace destroyed by 4 points of upgrades.

There are no system opens left this year are there? By my count we've had 8 - 4 paratanni, commonwealth defenders, triple uboat, and 2 Miranda/Biggs/stresshog. And paratanni was probably needed the least of the major meta builds in the last FAQ. On the other hand, if Miranda Biggs stresshog DOES win another system open, it means it's close to a year from now and maybe does need a nerf

Which 4 points of upgrades kills Fel? Usually it involves Sabine (2 points), Cluster Mines (4 points), and Advanced SLAM (2 points).

That said, I agree that the existence of this combo has basically pushed Imperial aces out if the meta. It's nearly impossible for three fragile ships to compete when their opponents are operating with perfect information on where to drop their bonds to score guaranteed damage.

I consider the Cluster Mines 2 points just as it's just an Extra Munitions token. But you're right, Adv. Slam is 2 points as well. Still pretty good to kill an ace instantly with no dice rolls.

Parattanni was far more dominant and well rounded than the newest Paul Heaver's. It also spent months as the top dog before being addressed and when it was, Parattannis were holding a very large percentage of the top tables, at least in Europe.

Will Miranda/Biggs/stressbot fare the same? Maybe, or maybe not. While I fully understand the concerns about Sabine, we still need a bit of time to see how the meta devolps. As a starter, that list doesn't have an easy time against either 3 Jumps and Kanan/Biggs, 2 very popular builds right now and this is already more than what you could have said about Parattanni which basically had only the mirror as a bad matchup

Only 3 torpedo's, isthat correct? He didn't have EM on the boba boat instead of R4 on the bumpmaster?
