What ship should my BH buy? Right now I am wanting the VCX-100 Light Freighter, the Barrage Gunship, a 4R3 Light Assault Transport, and the Lancer-Class Pursuit Craft. I need room for up to 6 PC's.

Well, my personal favorite ship does not yet have official stats for FFG, but is still a badass ship. That's the CEC YZ-900 found at This is the Blog You're Looking For . It's the sister ship to the YZ-775 from Dangerous Covenants . Crew of 2 to 8, 14 passengers (could easily be turned into cells for prisoners), 500 tons of cargo capacity, and armed to the proverbial teeth with two turret mounted twin medium laser cannons, two forward facing light laser cannons, and Fore and Aft concussion missile launchers.

Depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re willing to spend up to 500k credits, there’s a whole slew of ships available in the list at http://swrpg.viluppo.net/transportation/starships/?order_by=equipment__price&flattened=true .
For example, the YT-1760 can have two crew and up to eight passengers, Silhouette 4, Speed 4, Class 1 main hyperdrive, and Handling +1, for a dirt-cheap price of only 85k credits.
In contrast, the Gozanti Armed Transport is more expensive at 200k credits, is one Silhouette larger, but has a very high Hull Threshold and System Strain Threshold, with 7 weapons standard and four hard points. It requires only twelve crew and can hold up to twelve passengers.
Then there’s also the Imperial Customs Frigate, the Skipray Blastboat, the Barrage Gunship, the PB-950 Patrol Boat, the VT-49 Decimator, the J-type Star Skiff, and so many more…. It all depends on what you’re looking for.
A modified Consular Cruiser would be an interesting choice, especially if the salon pod had been converted into a detachable cell block...
The rigger specialisation will go great with the Barrage Gunship! One extra missile per launcher! The ship is already a missile boat! Should I combine Rigger with Operator for specialisation instead of Pilot?
If I install a proton or concussion missile launcher on a VCX-100 Light Freighter. How do I know how many missiles that fits into the launcher?
For the Lancer-Class Pursuit Craft. Which secondary tree will make the Lancer-Class Pursuit Craft more survivable? I love the look of that ship, its tractor beam, and that you can flip a switch and make all the weapons fire at an acquisition.

For added launchers, the Limited Ammo is 3 x (Linked value + 1). So if it doesn't have Linked, it's Limited Ammo 3. Twin launchers with Linked 1 would have Limited Ammo 6 (and you would use 2 on any shot where Linked is activated).
Of the ships you list, I personally prefer the 4R3. Of course, it's very expensive and you could probably take two other ships for the same cost.
I'd never suggest the VCX-100 as it's detailed for this game. Either spend a few more credits for a C-ROC Gozanti -class Light Cruiser or go for a YT-2400 instead, depending on if you want durability or speed/maneuverability.

I would say no on account of the weapons systems. Linked 5 is going to require 10 advantage to trigger fully. Also Linked is a limited form of Auto-Fire, mechanically speaking. You need two Advantage to trigger Auto-Fire and you need two Advantage for each rank of Linked you want to trigger. So eliminate the Auto-Fire. Same for the turret lasers, eliminate the Auto-Fire and the Accurate.
The bomblet generator is simply a bomb delivery system, you have x number of bombs to use that must be replaced. Range of the bomb launcher should be Close, not Medium, with the Fire Arc Down(see TIE Bomber entry in AoR). Since it appears to be an Ion weapon, drop the damage to 6, drop Blast and Breach to 4, and Increase the Crit to 4.

The Sentinel originally had eight medium laser cannons firing forward. This was reduced in this system to half that number (Linked 3). You might want to do the same here, but if you want to stick with Linked 5, it's not really a big deal.
I too recommend against Auto-Fire and Linked on the same weapon, but there's nothing to actually prevent it.
