So this is a thing

By jek, in Runewars Miniatures Game

don't know how you did find this but interesting.

He mainly says if you don't know french that :

There are 44 figs, 22 per army, easy to assemble, multiple poses to avoid, that he says, the clones army. he doesn't find the minis that exciting in comparison with what Games workshop has to offer, etc.

for the rest he is yelling about the price being outrageous..

and for the rest the pictures speak of themselves. It's badly written and full of mistakes but nowadays french speaking persons can't write an (non) online text without making 50 mistakes/line...no i'm exaggerating a bit but still...

Thank @jek for finding this link it reveals far more than what we could except for the next review :)

Strange... now you posted it, I'm not awaiting anything else than the rules... what a spoil, man :D but i doubt this is a final product though... (no the minis don't look less detailed and his camera is fine, I think it's a matter of exposition...but still some look less detailed to me than what we saw on the net so far)

Yeah google translated this for me, It my be lost in a bad translation but his tone in writing seems less than excited... I'm mainly excited about seeing the models.

Hu.... why do you rhink the golem has blank pieces on his dial ? to illustrate the fact that this is a big strong guy that needs time and room to move and hit ?

EDIT : forget what I just said, other units have blank pieces of pizza on the dial... just wonder why... still something I didn't read carefully in the previews published so far...

Edited by Elrad

Probably just to reflect how much different utility certain units have, like you said this is a big slow hard hitting guy so he doesn't do much more than that

sadly I'm at work so i can't really decipher what all the upgrades say but I do see a gear piece called "Shield Wall" i'd like to know what that does. It also looks like the siege models and heroes both get unique upgrades.

This is great! Some of these pictures are better than what we have on the wiki too! I'll try to get some of those on in the next couple days!

Some of those terrain pieces are huge! Don't think we've seen all these yet. This is better than the preview we didn't get this week!

EDIT: I think he's saying there's a lore book too!

Edited by Willange

Yeah it looks like there is a 32 page lore book,

I'm so pumped to get all these upgrades and scenarios and deployments on the wiki now! If any of you have time before I do, feel free to put them up.

It definitely looks like getting 2 cores is a good idea though and splitting with a friend because many of those upgrades are only in there once (assuming he shows all the upgrades).

I wish I could but I'm at work lol...

what is the icon on the rune golem card after brutal? I can't see if it matches up with anything and have been trying to figure it out since the first reveal...

There are runes you throw every round and certain runes help certain units in different ways. The runes change randomly every round. You'll notice the golem has a rune-based move and the reanimates have rune-based regen.

ah cool that you for clarifying that!

So in the following days I expect to see one by one all the cards included in the game.

I want to see the missions and upgrades.

I wish this guy didn't take the pictures of the cards at such an extreme angle...they would be so much easier to read... @Elrad Think you could reach out to him and ask if he can take some additional pictures of the upgrades and such for our Wiki page? (as you speak the language)

Yes, I know, quoting myself is really looking like a no-life lonely guy locked up in front of his screen but still.

Can someone tell me what are stances and, what are those letters in black under each caction and modifier ? thanks

It's done in a minute :-)

I think those letters are just the colors so you can match them if you are color blind

@jek : done, I'm waiting for his reply. I asked him to take close-up of all the cards in a readable quality. Don't know if I should go to ask him a complete scan of the rules but we'll see how He reacts to this first request.

I would love a scan of the rules!... though depending on what agreement he had with FFG that may violate something (don't really see why it would but I'm cautious) I know a buddy and I are going to be doing a podcast and battle reports of this game once it is launched so we would kinda like to know the rules for the BR of the launch adventure...

curious about how many pieces the Worm is...I am getting 2 undead starter sections and already have some ideas to make each worm unique. If the torso of the rider is a separate piece that wouldd rock.

Yeah, if he could get close ups of all the upgrades, that would be awesome... I've been able to transcribe the scenarios and deployments easily enough so far, but some high-quality scans of cards would be amazing for the wiki since he managed to cover half of the relevant info up on the upgrades -_-

our little Wiki is growing up so fast ::sniffle::(ours is an extremely loose term as my contribution thus far I think has been 'Thats a great idea!" lol)
