The ability states: A friendly figure of your choice recovers 2 damage and becomes focused.

Thematically I don't think it fits and should refer to other friendly figures.

Whatever means Jabba is using on other figures should thematically work on himself to recover damage.

Yes it works for reasons above. Thematically, of course Jabba has the funds to hire some medical aid to himself. That determined focus won't help much. If someone is within range of Jabba, you're already flirting with trouble...

This is why Jabba always strategically places himself up higher than his foes.

Should they come to close and threaten him he can always just roll off and onto them, crushing his foes like the bugs they are
