We here in Perth, Western Australia had our very first Armada Regionals the other day. I was lucky enough to come second, and I figured I'd share my list:

Anyone who plays on Vassal knows the name MattShadowlord. He and I played a few practice games leading up to the tournament, and after our most recent game he suggested the above list as a means of capitalizing on what I had been trying to achieve with squadrons. He then told me to forget I'd ever seen the list because it was almost too good. He wasn't wrong. 
The MVP of this list is Biggs. If you haven't played with Biggs yet, I suggest you give him a try, because he is a monster! His ability allows you to spread the damage around all of the Escorts that are within range one of him, which makes it super tough for your opponent to focus fire effectively with their squadrons (especially with Jan Ors chipping in). At the end of my second game of the tournament, EVERY X-WING was on one hit point - that's 20 points of squadron damage for zero casualties!
