Sato tourney list

Hey I was hoping I could get some feedback on a list I'm considering for a tournament this weekend.

The plan is to go second player and win the deployment battle hopefully by deploying the Pelta, flotilla and squadrons first and then the liberty off to the side where it can attempt to Max speed plus engine tech around to flank the enemy. Probably slow the Pelta and flotilla down to speed 1 or even 0 the first few turns to allow flanking to occur and the fighters to push ahead.

My concerns are :1- only 3 activations. I'm used to 4 and even that's tough sometimes. 2- Pelta and flotilla as main anvil for the fleet can be quite squishy. I'm hesitant if it's enough even with the big Bomber wing as deterrent. Might swap some out stuff to get boosted Comms instead of the expanded hangars.

Anyhow any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

Nope lol. Think they have nicknamed it hothgary here...and looking around outside I think the name has merit

Well than that case lol. I am running a list this weekend at regionals and it looks very similar to this. Only difference is I am not using bombers or bomber command and I have 4 activations. I do like the mind set anchoring the pelta and gr75 and circling the liberty, but can you circle the enemy in enough time and still drive them to the pelta, transport and bombers. It's aggressive and I like it. Just be prepared to move your pelta and transport at short notice to save the liberty.

That's my concern as well, getting isolated and defeated in detail.

Idea is to run the Pelta, Liberty, Transport in a straight line across maintaining a wall. Using MC30 as a flanker at high speed. Using A wings to get close to ships using Sato. Once enemy is in close range slow the fleet to a crawl using nav tokens and Entrapment Formation and park. Wanted to put engine techs on the pelta but couldn't afford it and wanted to beef up my 6 squadrons as much as possible. H9's will help roll an accuracy on blues or reds and then us as many black dice as possible. Need that accuracy or the enemy will just keep bracing. Navigation is the key and hopefully the MC 30 can circle in time without becoming chum bait lol.
