Just a quick update - I have all the images and will update the first post too. The TIE Striker fixed image has been uploaded. Work now continues on adding the ships, pilots and upgrades!

If this isn't the place to say, totally ignore me but something weird happens if the shadow caster title or Ketsu pilot ability effects a small ship. The system stops and nothing happens unless you move to the next phase.

And ynot, I didn't intend to offend with the missing HOTR stuff, I really appreciate the work you're doing here.

I didn't take any offense. If someone could come up with a list of what is missing I'd really appreciate it. There isn't an easy way to go through the code to find out.

This is fine as long as it's ok with FFG. I do have a blog that you can reach through the app in the menu at the top right of the window. The blog is mine so everyone is free to post there and you don't even have to identify yourself if you don't want to as I allow anonymous posts(for now - if it becomes an issue I'll change it, ie.spam, etc)

Appears that TLT ships still freeze up when firing.

Is there a way to tell when updates have gone into effect? Or do I need to periodically clear out my cookies/data/etc to refresh the site?

Yesterday and today, computer controlled ships have flown off the board (multiple times, like ten or so!). Typically Asajj or Manaroo, but Fenn did it and so did a TLT Y-wing.

Where do we submit bugs?

I could tracktor beam stuff off the board. And I had to do this, since the other side was blocked.

Also, Mist Hunter did not get the barrel roll action with the title equipped.

I've also noticed, that I could not use Slicer Tools as a second action after PtL.

Haha. I forgot about that glitch! I fly the Mist Hunter so often in the benchmark that I forgot barrel roll was supposed to be there.

This is correct - PTL allows you to perform an action in your action bar as the second action; slicer tools is a card. You need "experimental interface" to be able to do them in that order!

GJ mate. It already feels better. Out of curiosity: its written in PHP or more complicated backend?

Any idea when you will have time to add the generic Ren Bat?

Edit: Also, I'd really like to be able to choose where Asajj's mobile arc starts each game.

It seems to be 99% javascript. That is, it runs on your browser with no server interaction during a match.

Right i missed it - shame on me :D Not my pony then :)

It's not polite to point fingers at someone else's code, especially if they have done it for free and given to the community, but the original code that Ynot forked could use a serious refactoring.

The main part of it sits in a single source file that is close to 20,000 lines, without comments, where most of the variables are called a, p, b, m1, ct. And it mashes together base game functionality, graphics, pilot abilities, definitions...

It's a lot of work done, but it's also really difficult to maintain, because it takes a while to figure out what is done where and why.

Ynot, what you are doing cannot be thanked enough.

Are re-rolls working correctly? Over the last 2 days I've played maybe 6-7 games, mainly with Defenders and I don't think I've had a target lock re-roll actually do anything in those games. Weirdly, after the reroll the dice display will show fewer dice than it should, effectively removing the non-hits from the display. It could just be very bad luck but it seems unlikely.

Depends on how you have your browser settings setup at. If you clear things out when you close the browser then every time you open it and go to the site it will have the latest one. Some browsers cache things differently depending on the settings.

Dice are rolled using the random function of javascript. What browser and on what operating system are you running it on?

The mobile arc thing is something I am already looking into. I also want to show where the arc is pointing. I added some text to the log when you rotate it but haven't been able to get the image to change just yet.

As for the new ships that aren't in yet, I'll probably have them in on the weekend along with the unique pilots but their abilities may not all be working. I want to get all the pilots in without abilities and make sure they work. Once they are all working, I'll start adding in the special abilities.

Considering it is only 350 lines of code, I'm surprised the AI doesn't fly off more lol.

I've been thinking of how to make it so the AI can't fly off the board but haven't figured it out as of yet. When I get some other bigger bugs fixed and have the new ships in with all the upgrades I'll devote more time to the AI and see what I can do.
