Rebel Convoy, created (popularized?) by Kinetic Operator was a list out of left field in the early waves of x-wing with two Outer Rim Smugglers with no upgrades and two Gold Squadron Y-wings with Ion Cannon Turrets. It doesn't make any sense until you hear the strategy, block with the YT-1300s and use the Ion to hold them in place until dead. It is a quintessential control list when everyone is going for more damage or more defense.

Episode II substituted a Wild Space Fringer and fit a third Y wing, possibly with the BTL-A4 title.

I think its time has come again, but switching factions. I think the first version is a better template, but by switching the Smugglers for Contracted Scouts we gain 4 points, and Cartel Spacers with Heavy Scyk and Ion Cannon gains another 4 points each. This gives room for each scout to have Intimidation (to help the Ion Cannons hit), Anti-Pursuit Lasers, and Feedback Array.

If it Intimidation came in anything other than the Decimator I'd have it on the table already, but I only have one. I'll try it in proxy form, but does anyone have suggestions? With practice, could this have legs?
