Every one go home. All the complaining on the forums made FFG cancel the game.

For those that actually care launch week shoul be last week of March or first week of April.

I expected another update by now. Weren't we due a lore update last week?

I've been madly checking since yesterday. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I came very close to creating a similar topic many times in the past 24 hours. I suppose we will survive for another week without news.

I'd have to imagine its March 31 weekend or just a day or 2 around that, given when that's the beasts of war event and they will be giving copies out. Well it at least means copies will bee physically available.

I hesitated to create such a topic yesterday when not seeing any new from FFG coming up... I was saying that without any futher news this forum would soon begin to run after its tail to find something to tell. Really, we won't be able to go any further without "material".

If the game is due by the end of march, then, when would you think they will allow us to have the rules online ?

Yeah I was going to connect this with one of my post inviting the forumers here to "enlight" FFG'sHQ... hope some of them didn't take it wrong and decided to delay on purpose any further new....

Half-life 2 is now in the same category as Firefly, things I love but adamantly argue against people experiencing them if they have not already, it will just lead to disappointment,,,

@Elrad @Iceeagle85 every time someone asks when Half-life 3 will release Mr. Newell delays it by another year.

Gabe won't release half life 3 until they have some next level technology to sell off of it like they did with the source engine. I think that should have been obvious to every one, considering half life 2 was 90 percent an advertisement of the sources engines capabilities.

Half-life is an overrated series and frankly, quite boring.

@Obscene Half-Life 1 was good but I have not appreciated the last segment in the space or something, I loved the principle of getting through that base full of vicious aliens and mad soldiers...reminded me of Alien II

@Muz333 overrated, yes, boring...considering the first episode only, It's not that boring, but yes there are, today, better scenarized FPS.

Half Life isn't over-rated. The scripted events, the way the story was told through being a part of it, the different types of weapons and enemies make it one of the most ground breaking shooters of all time. *in retrospect* it doesn't offer many new things, but at the time, it was the first. Half Life 2's physics engine and the ability to manipulate was pretty cutting edge beyond the graphical component of it. Plus the ravenholdt section of the game is easily one of the best sections of any game.

FFg, it's time to publish something new or we are gonna know each others far more better than your game...

Half Life was my first first-person shooter. I wasn't good enough at it to beat the game, though, and it was too scary for me. I mostly played multi-player. At the place where I did summer job during high school, there were about a dozen computers setup on LAN and we would play for an hour or so after work. The two bosses of the company were really, really good. I can't count the number of times one of them sneaked up behind me and crowbarred me to death. Good times.

I would say so too but tastes and opinions differ and some people just don't like certain games, that's ok. I liked Half Life 1 and 2 and 2 was really a very good shooter at it's time and surely influenced later shooters, but it's ok to not like it.

As much as I love Steam I can't say I've really enjoyed any of the Valve games.

That said, the fact we're having this conversation says a news update on Runewars is far overdue.

WHY IS THERE NO NEW NEWS YET!!!!!!
