So Leebo takes a critical hit from Marek Steel. Who, how, and what order do the player dig through the damage deck and choose which critical hit to apply to Leebo.

I thought about I Will Show You The Dark Side, but I believe that card is assigned, not dealt. Feel free to figure that one out as well if I am wrong.

There's no "digging through the damage deck" at all. Maarek draws the top three cards, chooses one to deal to Leebo and discards the remaining two. Leebo then draws another card, chooses which one of the two he now has in his metallic hand he wishes to keep and resolve, and discards the other.

If he has Determination equipped, and selects a Pilot trait card to resolve, Determination triggers and he promptly discards the damage card without taking any damage.

Last year I was in a tournament against Leebo. Time had been called and the winner would be determined by whether Leebo died or not... he had two hull left.

After the compare results step just one crit remained uncancelled. He also had determination. My only way to win was to take both hull points left with the lone crit that went through.

My opponent drew "Direct Hit" and "Direct Hit."

STDS clearly says delt not assign. Also as for leebo and maarek there is already an FAQ on the subject
