Due to lack of time I had to shelve this excellent game for about a year.

I *did* buy wave 4 but have not played any games.

Wave 5 on its way and expected this very week.

My question is;

What are the ships to try first? Builds to look out for?

As a general rule I buy/have each and every expansion once.

My sole exception are the first wave fighters (both sides) and I have a 2nd AF.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks a bunch.

Given the fact that my two (only 2 ) opponents in the near vicinity have a massive crush on Imperials and I do not like 'blue on blue' much I shall probably play Rebels more often than not.

But I would love the occasional game with imps myself.

Rebels are at a better place now than ever.

New aces, like Biggs and Nora Wexley bring even more options for running strong bomber lists (usually backed by Yavaris).

The big MC80 can make good use of Reinforced Blast Doors to become a solid center of a direct-fire fleet.

If there's one thing we have seen from the last few months of regional tournaments is that the meta is wide open. Figure out what style you want to play (fast strike ships, carrier/bomber, big gunship) and there is something for the Rebels that can make it sing.
