Is there a link somewhere for FFG forum conduct rules? I just got a warning for "inappropriate language" (referenced politics one time...) which kind of surprised me.
Forum Rules?
Did they say explicitly that that's the reason you were warned? Your post wasn't offensive, and there have been plenty of political debates on the forums, which are quickly locked usually, but I don't think anyone's ever gotten a warning point for them. Granted the site's run by different people now, but that shouldn't have earned you a warning point.
Here's the rules of conduct:
Here's the notice I was given:

No idea what the OP said, or in what thread.
But if the thread isn't really political in nature in the first place, and someone were to post something political in it, that may be enough. What was said doesn't really have to be offensive, just not something that's really on topic.
Or if someone said something in a thread that's about politics that really went too far, that would be grounds as well.
Also it could be that FFG has decided to crack down on political threads and gave a bunch of people who were posting in one warnings.
Years ago, like 40+, I learned that there were 3 things considered taboo. You only brought them up with good friends or if you wanted to start an argument. The lesson served me well for many years. Those three topics are : Politics, Religion and Red Haired Women. Refrain from those and four lettered words and you should be good.
There isn't near enough moderation on these forums if you ask me. Why do we even have an off-topic section when no-one is given proper incentive to use it?
