Raider title: Crits do 1 damage to Bombers. This way it won't be completely murdering 3/4 hull fighters.

This just pushes people back to running black die squadrons without bomber such as A-Wings, YT-2400s, TIE Advanced, etc.
-edit- it also completely removes Lancers from the game as a 4 hull bomber.
Edited by thecactusman17MC80L: Reef Home - During the damage resolution step, reduce the number of face down damage cards by 1. 10 points
Trying to give a little more defense to the MC80L. Basically it prevents 1 hull damage whenever you would suffer it. Bombers can still score crits against you, but nonbombers are useless. I'm trying to word it so it doesn't prevent every face down damage card because you deal them out 1 at a time, but I also don't want it to work like Derlin where it is just 1 damage prevented.
MC80L: Alliance - Gain a Defensive Retrofit slot. 2 points.
Again, trying to give more defense to the MC80L.
This is my favorite ship both thematically and gameplay wise but I wish it wasn't so fragile.
Victory-Class: Vanguard: If you did not reveal a squadron command, you may activate an additional 2 squadrons with a squadron command token. 6 points.
Freeing the Victory carrier from squadron commands, needs a paired comms net Gozant or Yularen to be truly effective.
Nebulon B: Purity: You may not resolve critical effects. Face up damage cards dealt to you are discarded. 6 points
An anti-Salvation, gives the Nebulon a bit of staying power.

Purity means Rebels have 2 ships that can run over asteroids. Pretty good for picking Dangerous Territory or playing Navigational Hazards.
Mostly here for the breadcrumbs.
I'm actually very bad at coming up with new ideas when it comes to upgrades and the like, despite being the creator of KDY. I'm good at building tools - I'm very bad making stuff that the tools help make.
I know I already offer my suggestions but I feel sad about the Liberty-class so...
Ship: LMC80
Title: Justice
Text: After you reveal a command dial you may activate up to 2 squadrons at short-medium range.
Cost: 10 (maybe not but it looks powerful, as 2 HB, and I don't want kill Liberty title)
The idea is a stronger carrier as the Justice was but with a different mechanic than the Liberty. We would have an easy 5 activations if you feed it with tokens or 4 without token. We would have 2 interesting activations with other commands what looks powerful. On the other hand we couldn't throw 4 activations with flight commander.
And just because I add a new rebel, as imperial player I will add another imp title XD
Ship: VSD
Title: Protector
Text: after defending, if you don't have assigned damage cards you may ready one of your defense tokens.
Cost: 5
I like VSD and whatever that made them better. This title make it stronger. You easily spend all your shields and pair greatly with Needa making him more interesting with those VSD. I think it is not so powerful as it would easily bypassed with APT or ramming but it make the VSD more durable while it is moving to engagement and less vulnerable against bombers.
Someone do the flotillas so we can vote on our favorite titles. The suspense is killing me! ![]()
Are any of the Flotillas bad though? The reason they aren't getting titles is because every single one is already between merely good (Quantum Storm) and outstanding (everything else).
Customary
GR-75
8 points
Engineering token: exhaust this card to remove 1 point of damage from 1 friendly squadron within range 1-3 of you.
changed range from 1-2 to 1-3
I'd rather it was range 1-3, but i still like this one.
Mine was a shot in the dark. I'm open to it being 1-3 instead of 1-2.
Well the title is 8 points and you only heal 1 point off a squadron at a time, so i think range 1-3 is fair.

Do Rebels really need additional defensive augmentation with Riekan, Gallant Haven, Biggs Darklighter, Jan, and more yet still? That's there thing. Please allow your players on either side to actually kill your squads.

That's why I never run one without Lando anymore. He comes in VERY handy for when an enemy ship gets into that pitiful side arc...

I think this fixes the Lancer thing.

How does it work with intel?

Sorry a reference was made to Lancers being harshed by the Bombers keyword. I thought it would fix that and make sense that slow ships take the beating.

I think it is countered by the fact that the raider is incredibly fragile.

Fair enough. I like the idea either way. ![]()
I'm surprised that Thunderstrike hasn't been mentioned for the CR90 (from the Twilight company book)
Thunderstrike
CR-90
4 points
When at distance 1-3 of another friendly ship. Reduce the incoming damage according to the difference class size. Large: -2 damage, medium: -1. Small: 0
In the book, Thunderstrike was always escorted by a ship. It doesn't fit into a CR90 swarm, and makes you play slow with a fast ship. Plus it is nice when they accuracy your redirect and go 'boom' because that 1 or 2 points could've saved you.
Another one if ryanabt let me add more. It is just because if we are voting them eventually we need more titles per ship. So...
Ship: arquitens
Title: Merciless
Text: once per round, after you perform an attack, if the defender was destroyed, you can perform an attack. You can attack from a hull zone that you already attack from but you cannot target the same ship or squadron more than once during this activation.
Cost: 3
The idea would be some kind of gunnery team.
