(Hopefully) fun exercise.

The next campaign is coming out and it includes a new title for every current ship. What is the new title, what does it do, and what is the points cost.

Here is the rub. Only one submission for each faction per person, so pick your favorite ship or one you think needs the help.

Imperial-
Raider
Title: Judicious
Effect: When defending against squadrons, you may spend evade tokens as if at range band 3 regardless of range.
Cost: 2-3 points
Desired Result: The hope is that it acts as another anti-Squadron title, but a more defensively oriented one. This would allow the ship to sale into a squadball and take up to four squad dice shots without injury. Hence no help offensively against squads, but allows it to survive to the next turn to use those black dice.

Rebel-
MC80 (Home One)
Title: Steadfast
Effect: (Engineer Symbol): 1 pt: Move 2 shields to another hull zone. 2 pt: Recover 2 shields 3 pt: Discard 2 damage cards.
Cost: 9
Desired Result: Hopefully this will allow for a super defensively minded MC80, but at quite the cost. It still can die to focus fire, but if it gets a repair it is a tough nut to crack.

Effect: At the start of the game, set your rear shields to 0. Set each of your side shields to 2.
Cost: 1 pt.
Desired Result: Makes a semi-naked Neb B a potentially more attractive purchase since no one uses anything but Yavaris and Salvation.

Victory Star Destroyer
Title: Pursuer
Effect: Add a (tech symbol) upgrade to your upgrade bar.
Cost: 2 pt.
Desired Result: Get Engine Techs or FCT on a VSD making it much more attractive!

With your Absolution, it is a nice title that makes you wish you could put it on multiples. It isn't so strong as Yavaris or Salvation, but you don't have to build around it. You are right it would be nice for semi-naked.

Also like Pursuer just to make a VSD say "SURPRISE!!!"

EMPIRE

Ship: ISD

Title: Interceptor

Effect: treat this ship as a medium size ship.

Cost: 7 (?)

Desired result: it is really focused to make Hyperspace Assault playable with those big ships fleets but, man, an ISD from hyperspace is so epic... It has some drawbacks as it would be less effective with Phylon or Motti and is vulnerable against enemy Phylon on medium size ships. Maybe the cost is high to a focused and not guaranteed purpose but an ISD from hyperspace looks scary. I let you change the cost as you wish.

I would almost change the name to Devastator even though there is already that title. I just think of Vader coming out of nowhere in Rogue One.

Effect: At the start of the first round gain one redirect token.

Desired result: Give this titled raider a bit more survivability.

Rebel

Title: "Phalanx"

Cost: 6 points

Effect: You gain 1 Weapons Team icon in you upgrade bar.

Desired result: Ordnance Experts, and probably more important, another Flight Controllers platform for the Rebels.

Desired result: tired of Intel? wish your Interceptor could mess with enemy squadrons like it messes with enemy ships? Here you go!

Rebel:

Nebulon B: Nebulon B-2 modified frigate (NON-UNIQUE TITLE)

Effect: replace one of your brace defense tokens with a redirect defense token. Gain a defensive retrofit slot.

Cost: 2

Desired result: gives players the option to run an alternative Nebulon-B that's a bit more well-rounded for when they'd like a more resilient small ship that's still oriented towards front arc attacks.

Oh nice call Snipa. Harpago could vault interdictor into a high end option.

My rebel one

Ship: CR90

Title: Liberator

Effect: at the end of the squadron phase each engaged enemy squadron at distance 1 of you suffer 1 damage.

Desire result: an antisquadron dedicated ship for the rebels. It makes this ship a less desirable target for non-bombers squadrons as tie fighters and interceptors.

ISD - Executrix

This is Tarkin's ISD.

"Before you reveal your command dial, you may spend a token to change your dial to a matching/any command."

Price to match a liason that doesn't use an officer's slot.

MC -80 - Freedom

"Add the Weapons team slot to your upgrade bar"

Cost: 8-10

Desired result: Allows you to take gunnery teams or flight controllers.

Really ups the power of the MC 80 broadside or the ability to run a really strong CAB (x-wings with 5 blue)

I'm assuming you mean "reduce the speed by 1 of any ship at distance 1-5"? Otherwise 5 points is underpriced. Otherwise i approve of these :)

"black asp"- interdictor from the x-wing rouge squadron novels. 8 points. ability: when this ship activates, all enemy squadrons at distance 1-5 may be moved up to distance 2 of their current position and their sliders moved to "activated".

Every time this ship activates you may activate 3 squadrons normally as if you revealed a Squadron Command.

Intent (have another title other than Demo to be used by this ship; Gladiators should have title corresponding to gladiators so this title is also thematic!)

it could be upped to 10 or 11, doesnt matter to me. in the book it gave rogue squadron the work so it has to be legit
