So a TIE/Shuttle Kylo Ren + Omega Ace = auto crits, shows them the Dark Side, blah blah. Scary, ooooh, one should fear the Dark Side...
It's a trap!
You want them shooting at your Omega Ace. You want them nailing your Kylo Ren carrier. Because that means you're shooting back at them, and with QD you're dishing out a reliable 4-6 damage per turn at PS9 - and it's all the more likely that your Omega Leader will survive to go 1v1 whatever their endgame nonsense is.
But actually, it is a reasonably effective package and one that can't really be ignored.
19 Scimitar Squadron Pilot w/ Kylo Ren
32 Quickdraw w/ Rage, Electronic Baffles, TIE Mk. II, Special Ops Training
26 Omega Leader w/ Juke, Comms Relay
23 Omega Ace w/ Push The Limit
I was originally running Zeta Leader in the OA slot, but he's been remarkably ineffective in the games I've been playing. I think providing a much clearer target priority, as well as threatening multiple crits on high-hull, low shield ships (since OA shoots after QD AND OL!) gives this build some teeth.
