If i use cunning for thermal detonators special. Do i still discard the det?

If i use cunning on black one with the dice exhuasted do i bring its dice back out? Do i reroll cunning? And the same with if black one hasnt been rolled out yet or if its dice is active in the pool?

Yes. Detonator gets discarded regardless of who owns it.

For Black One, the cunning die does not get rerolled. The Black One die does not need to be in the active pool for cunning to copy it. Additionally, you cannot reroll your opponent's Black One die with cunning.

Ok. I hoped i could cunning my black one die back out after it was used. Or use the reroll claus on my cunning die
