Finish my Corran list for Regional

I'm going to one of the last regionals in NA at the end month. And I am very rusty. Haven't played a competitive game since store champs last year and only a smattering of games since then. But I can fly Corran. So I've been tweaking this list and it always feels like I have a few wasted or poorly spent points. But I like the list.

Corran:

ptl, fcs, engine, r2d2

Chopper

fcs, ion projector, autoblaster turret, Hera, Ezra

This leaves 5 points left over. I've tried proton torpedoes to threaten the rear arc, but they always feel wasted. I've also got some anti-synergy with Ezra making my autoblaster throw crits.

Things I've considered:

Ezra--> gunner

fcs-->sensors on Corran(worried he would lack punch)

autoblaster-->tlt

How would you finish this list for a regional today?

If Kylo ends up being as bad as lots of people are thinking, something to shore up Corran's weakness to him might be a good idea. Draw Their Fire is the most obvious solution, but that Kanan build would also go a long way, as Corran can pretty reliably dodge 2 dice even if Hot Shot Copilot strips his Focus.

Kanan himself can live with most of the pilot crits, and probably won't be the primary focus of the opponent anyway, so I like that build even more. Chewbacca Crew could be substituted in place of Finn to keep Kylo off your back, but I'm not sure it's important to tech that hard. Alternatively, put in Rey for Finn, drop the Ion Projector, and get a TLT. If you don't like TLT, I kind of still like Rey better than Finn, because she can make sure you can get Focus even if blocked or stressed or on a rock. It potentially lets you nerf 3 attacks per turn, or nerf 2 and still boost your attack. That leaves you some points for a torpedo or upgrading Ion Projector to something else.

Aye, I would try fitting Kanan and TLT in the list.

Kanan Jarrus w/ TLT, FCS, Rey, Recon, TJ

So Kanan can really help out when you come across Kylo Ren, keeping Corran from getting two shotted by protecting him with TJ and reducing the incoming fire. Meanwhile, TLT > ABT against the top competition - anything you want to shoot with an ABT won't be staying in R1 so you can use it.

I think TLT is a good choice, but I think Defenders fear ABTs more than TLTs.

I played Corran when O/L was big. I'm used to an uphill climb. And that was worse than Kylo.

The chopper stress + ion projector has flat out won me some games. Especially with Miranda being so popular around here I am hesitant to change pilots. I'm also so used to Hera crew and big debris on a ghost. Do you switch to small rocks if you run Kanan?

Perhaps, but this game isn't won on fear, it's won on doing damage. And the R1 bubble isn't too hard to get out of, especially when you have a barrel roll that basically moves you an entire R1.

Nope, Kylo is much worse.

You could swap autoblaster turret for ion cannon turret. That would help make ezra more useful and it will be easier to get shots off as it extends the range from 1 to 1-2.

These 2 ships could work really well together, with Chopper ionizing the enemy and then coran and chopper can hopefully get into range 1 for the double tap and 5 dice primary.
