Such as attacking my own units (what where you thinking? ) or somehow destorying my own support cards that might not be benefiting me?

Attacking my own units while playing the orcs would sure have its benefits.

You can only attack an opponent's zones. But some cards allow you to deal damage to a target unit. In that case you are allowed to target your own units.

It is legal to use Tactics cards to target your own cards unless otherwise specified. Example of a good one is the Dwarf combo with King Kazador, Demolition!, and Stand Your Ground. Play King Kazador as a development. Target it with Demolition!, then trigger Stand Your Ground to get King Kazador into play for far less than normal.

You cannot declare attacks against your own zones or assign your battle phase combat damage to your own units.
