The resistance's second best fighter squadron (squadron y.u.b.), beat only by black squadron, has received word of a resistance pilot in distress, taking their rebellion era ships, they set out to save the pilot, only to be greeted by a first order patrol of a patrol leader, Carnor jax, and duchess. Keyan and the ewok piloted y set up to intercept the patrol while the ewok piloted u set up to aid the pilot, however, the patrol caught sight of the resistance pilots and charged forwards, the patrol leader's hot-shot copilot commanding the gunner to open fire on the disabled ship, but doing no damage from their two shots

keyan then charged forwards to face down the patrol leader that was currently directly above the pilot and destroyed his deflector shields, meanwhile carnor got himself in a bad place, he collided with the decimatior, but had a shot at the pilot, however, the collision made duchess crash as well, as the y and u watched and laughed, then the y opened fire but missed everything (ewoks in a y-wing, what do you expect?) then the u opened fire on the decimatior, scoring a direct hit, and stunning the piloting crew

later carnor crashed into the u-wing, attempting to flip around, and the decimation flew straight into seismic charges dropped by the y, however the charges did harm the u as well, but if you ain't willing to shell an ally, you ain't willing to win, meanwhile Keyan positioned himself to fire at carnor, but missed horribly, duchess, seising the opportunity of everyone being distracting, s-looped over Keyan and the pilot and opened fire, finally taking the shields off of the fighter.

next, the u collided with carnor on purpose and had Sabine toss a seismic charge out the side gun doors, directly where carnor flew over, then Sabine laughed as she pushes the detonator and did two damage to the interceptor, while the u's shields took another bomb shot, the y flew straight through a rock but was perfectly fine, and keyan did a sharp turn to fight the patrol leader and blew the tank out of the sky, meanwhile duchess collided with a rock and took a damage, then the u fired and did nothing because everyone was busy watching the seismic charges from earlier explode, and the y opened fire at duchess and did one damage, then the disabled pilot used what little power in his guns was left and destroyed duchess, much to everyone's surprise

then the pilot was nearing the pick-up point, and two first order TIEs appeared, though slightly damaged, and charged at the pilot, (carnor was busy thinking how he was gonna make up his mistakes to snoke) and the u and y moved to be prepared for evac, as Sabine tossed the other seismic out the door from accidentally activating it, and the blast radius missed carnor barely, and Keyan barrel rolled and did a sharp turn in and Ezra pulled the b-wing's heavy laser cannon triggers and blew a TIE out of the sky, panicked, the other TIE attempted to shoot down the pilot and go for the kill, but only managed to shake the pilot, then the pilot flew out of the war-zone and got onto the resistance troop transport and safely returned home to celebrate with squadron y.u.b. Over some bantha milk
