I think it is safe to say judging by the patterns of the other two factions that Scum is due for another Huge ship after the C-ROC. One that is the scum counterpart to the Rebel CR-90 and Imperial Raider. But after that is that the end of Epic? Has Epic gone full circle and by full circle there are no more Huge ship expansions for X-wing?

So is Epic format for X-wing limited to only 6 different Huge ships (2 for each of the three factions)?

Well, you can take standard ships into Epic and some of them actually do much better there.

However, I don't know if we can confirm epic is a "dead" format after Scum gets is maximum Epic as it's still a "fix" method for standard play ships and it's entirely possible that more epic scale ships FFG would like to produce and sell will come out (Like the Hammerhead corvette).

I would expect the cycle to begin, and get one more huge for each faction.

Not as long as they can get tourny players to buy a $90 ship for cards for non epic squads. Think Last Action Hero, epic won't die till the grosses go down.

I'm not sure we're going to get a second huge Scum ship. X-Wing's release pattern has been pretty unpredictable. Wave X had three oh no wait five ships! Wave V had two large ships... and we're still waiting to hear when the remaining two ships will be announced. Most Wanted is the weirdest expansion ever (but I like it). Heroes of the Resistance is also weird.

Scum don't really have to be symmetrical with Rebels and Imperials. They have IG-8000, which is a monster in Epic and about 200 squad points anyway. It's possible that they've designed the C-ROC so that it can be configured for a couple of very different and worthwhile roles, encouraging us to buy two -- and then we'd have something like symmetry.

I think there will be a second huge Scum ship (they have not had parity in recent waves because Scum needed to catch up). Moreover, I very much hope to see more Epic ships. . .a Hammerhead Corvette would be an obvious new/canon choice, and would restart the rotation with Rebels.

Yeah, makes me wonder if Star Jewel (which a lot of people would like to see, myself included) is not gonna happen.

Given the way epic points work, I think we'd be likely to see the expected 3-point Scum ship, then one more 2-point ship for each faction so there's the chance for some variety in epic builds.

I was hoping that with the scum epic that maybe they would have included the cardboard to make the CR.90 and/or rebel transport into scum epics as well..

Some say Jabba is the big Scum crew like palpatine. What if that's not true? What if he's good, but the palpatine of scum has yet to be revealed?

Assuming he gets canonized in an upcoming Rebels episode, we may see that title of biggest scum crew go to Prince Xizor.

The StarViper fix is a pretty good reason to expect another huge Scum ship. A PS 8 Xizor pilot card with a better ability is my hope.

There is the Dornean gunship as well as the hammer head corvette for rebels. Apparently a Dornean is in Rogue One and it was in RotJ. The wiki article says it was designed for an anti-starfighter roll which would fit epic. For the imperials though, a rule set for an edge of a 6'x3' play space to represent a star destroyer of any class would probably be simplest and bring a sense of imperial dominance.

After the CROC, it's a sure bet that Scum will be getting a second epic ship. Sales are just too good. What it is I don't know, but you can bet it'll include at least one must-have card.

After each faction has two Huge ships I think the design space is pretty full. However, I could see a couple of generic space station expansions (Pirate Station, Imperial Command Station, Rebel Hidden Base) that each come with missions for an alternative tournament format. I'd buy those.

I still think there is a good chance we will see repurpose gear for the GR-75 and another Huge Scum ship- but probably "down the road" ...after getting more Huge ship(s) for Empire & Rebels.

I bet the next Scum Epic expansion will be of a ship that will be introduced on SW:Rebels or in the Han Solo movie... a ways off, sadly. I'll also bet that FFG has the next 3 Epic ships planned and/or developed AND we should be getting news on some kind of Epic release by the end of this year.

I don't think there'll be any more after the second scum one. On a personal level, First Order and Resistance are kind of pathetic, not to mention they don't even have ships of the correct size currently.

If anything, the CIS and Republic have ships of near-enough size that could be implemented. Their ships are a lot cooler than yet another TIE or X-wing.

the Starviper fix that will eventually come in a Scum Aces pack along with a Khirax fix?

On topic, I suspect we will eventually see another round of huge ships, but it will be a while. The C-Roc isn't even out yet, and then it will probably be another year or more for the 2nd scum ship to be released, and then a year or two after that before the cycle begins again. So we are not likely to see those new ships until 2020 or later.

Unless, of course, FFG doesn't hold to the expected pattern and releases the Hammerhead corvette (almost certainly the next rebel one to get done, however long it takes) next after the C-Roc.

I think for the next epic scum we will have to wait till Disney shows one in either movie or TV Show

scum and rebels have plenty of ships that can be translated to huge scale in this game. The problem is with the Imps not having a lot of 'medium transport' or 'corvette' like ships, everything they have is just too big!

My vote for 3rd Imperial ship is the Imperial Cargo Ship.

Would be great if FFG did both of those [so my own Hammerhead could be semi-legitimate], but I did some scale plans for the container 'puller' and it's reaaaaallllly deep! - but think of the fun & games with modular cargo pieces as debris fields and as other mission paraphernalia...and they could bundle an Imperial version of the quadjumper for moving the containers around

I'm not sure the viper needs a fix per se. Maybe a new title that gives most of the slots that Virago does but is not unique.

The other "fix" for the viper is just more pilots. They just didn't come out with anybody that's overly interesting (Guri might be OK in a meta that now is moving towards PS 5 and 6 ships)

Nice suggestion to keep huge ships coming but I really dislike the open freight look of the ship. It looks more like a cheap civilian ship than an Imperial military transport. At least the Rebels had some hull plating for their space blimps to keep containers in.
