By acegard, in X-Wing

Hello everybody! Back to Dials is once again going to be streaming the Denver, CO Regional Championships on February 4th, 2017 at Total Escape Games. Adam and I (Asa) will host a "Pregionals" round-table on-air starting at 8:30 AM MST, where we will talk to participants, go over lists, expectations, and what the sudden drop of Wave 10 might do to our competition!

Dice roll at 9AM, and we will hand off the commentary to longtime BTD Broadcaster and TEG proprietor John Stephens, who will take our stream through the rest of the day! Join us this Saturday on the Back to Dials Twitch Channel and watch some great X-Wing!

Did you lie to us? Still offline ?

I am also impatient lol

Yep offline still for me too :(

According to the Facebook page they were having a delay and hoped to be up and running by event start…40 minutes ago.

Twitch?

YouTube?

Live now on Twitch they'll have round 2 at 11 MST

Can you two have a make-out session in-between games, just to keep things fresh?

Linky?

SELFISH SOB YOU... don't come up on here without links and suches... FOR GOODNESS GRACIOUS SAKES!

I mean I don't care because I have barely watched any of these events because they have all been the ridiculous same... overs... and overs!

There are links in the OP.

Weird. They're there, but I can't see them. Stupid forum color scheme.

So, two bombers in the top 8.

And now, triple T-70s in the top 4. Poe, Nien Nunb. and Jess Pava.

Thanks for tuning in guys! Sorry for the rough start, we were sorting through a...legacy setup ;) but the Top 4 is on now and it's a great set of games, full of bombs and T-70s :)

Your camera is a bit our of focus and the picture is too bright. Hard to see what is going on.

That semi was probably the saddest game I've ever watched.

For the benefit of non-watchers, it was Poe/Nien/Jess vs. Corranda. The T-70 player outplayed his opponent from start-to-finish (from a maneuvering/positioning standpoint) but spent the whole game chasing a regenerating Corran who had absolutely insane green dice the whole way. I think Corran took one shot all game, maybe two?

Congrats to dude playing Corran Miranda. I really wanted him to win after the BS to start the game. The dice/karma gods got him in the end so all is well.

I'll be interested to hear the podcast dealing with that last match and Asa's take on it.

Hey everyone! What a DAY! My goodness that was fun. Though my own record (4-2, 15th place for some Thermal Detonators woohoo!) was not enough to make it into the final cut, I still had a blast and met some fantastic people - some of whom actually listen to our podcast ;)

Congratulations to the 2017 Denver Regional Champion, Dan Hars! And if course to the runner-up, and my first loss of the day, Johnathan Grasser - who played a great final match and showed me his superiority by blasting me off the table in the first round.

As you who watches the stream know, there were some tough calls in the final match. As my first experience judging, I deferred to a much more experienced TO who, after we conferred and considered all the points, made the decision that protected the integrity of the match.

Thanks to everyone who made this stream a success! To Adam and John for commentating with me and to Kyle for providing us with a fantastic streaming setup. And to everyone who played, and Total Escape Games in Bloomfield to hosting what was ultimately a phenomenal tournament!!

Oh yeah, and BTD released an episode this morning ;) check it out and get to know Adam!

I wasn't able to watch the final. What was Jonathan's squad, and what we're the judging issues?

Dan Hars Bumped the table while calling a judge over to see if his Miranda went off. But it also looked like she was possibly maneuvering off anyway. I have watched Dan Hars play a few times and it probably was un intentional but he has been sloppy with templates more than once including in this match.
