Was really hoping to see wave 6 news by now. I can't help but feel like FFG kind of neglects the Armada community. Destiny and X-Wing both seem to be getting much more love in terms of articles and updates...

But honestly though, in the article predictions running post we have some good predictions about when we should see new announcements.

Well, Armada hasn't been around for as long as X-Wing so that explains that part, but I think it's safe to say that X-Wings articles are released on a much more constant basis than Armada
We probably should buy more Arquittens to prove our worth to FFG

X wing is also about twice as old?
The good news is that Wave 6 is probably under production already and Wave 7 is probably also getting close. I wouldn't be surprised if wave 8 was actually even on the drawing board at this point.
The Bad news, is that we'll likely have to wait until the GAMA Trade show in March, to see the new waves of X-Wing, Imperial Assault, and Armada.
So start saving now!

I'm just happy that the forum community here is pretty vibrant. 200000 total posts in the Armada Forums. X-Wing is getting close to a million. Destiny is at about 11000 right now. For as dead as Armada is, there are a few true believers that keep posting in these forums and keeping it fresh, fun, and informative. Thanks to all that contribute to that!

As much as it displeases me to point it out...and, granted, we've only got 6 iterations to base this on (5 waves and the core set)...there has never been a 'new wave' Armada announcement in January or February, so I am not really expecting one. March/April/May are considerably more likely.

1st announcement in March at GAMA, with a release around June/July.
2nd announcement in August at GENCON, with a release around Christmas.
That is what they did last year. I'm expecting a repeat this year.

My bad, my only experience with FFG releasing new waves info is from wave 5, which was announced almost just as wave 3/4 was released.
I'd be happy with a new box set in the Conflict line. We enjoyed the Corellian Conflict, let's see the Hoth Invasion or the Outer Rim Skirmishes.
im full up on ships. I'd like to see new maps with different bonuses and resources.

you're good for reference there was roughly six months between the announcement of wave three and any news at all emphasis on any.

Wave 3 was announced on 3/16/16, and released on 8/11/16. That's almost exactly 5 months apart.
