I do like homing missiles, i was saying they can deal with x7s because the defender can't spend evade token

Gotcha. Sorry missed the context :P. And i completely agree Homming Missiles are really good against defenders. A couple Gamma Sq. Vets with Crackshot and Homming Missiles can wipe one off the board in a single turn. Very satisfying (and the look on your opponent's face is well worth it).

Especially since people seem to think x7s are next to immortal

Lol. Yup. Homming Missiles make them cry. As do Bombs and Party Busses (as long as you can keep them in arc)
I really hate the bases for Large and Huge ships. They're so flimsy and so inferior to Armada.

Yuuuuuuup. The large pegs are wobbly and break. This has been an issue for a while.

Large I agree, huges work very well - so well I am using them for the large ships exclusively.

I could go for releases being half as frequent and rules and FAQ updates being twice as frequent.

What do you, in particular, find annoying about the game? This can be anything related to the game at all. Maybe a particular mechanic annoys you? Have you been shut down by the same pilot over and over and it got tiring for you? Did the meta grow very stale for you at some point?
It's important to not only acknowledge what we love about this game but also what we dislike.
I have two in particular:
1) I disliked the Triple Scout Meta. As someone who attended and watched a LOT of X-Wing tournaments over the reign of the scouts it got increasingly more tiresome as a TO to see the same build take top table again and again and again. Glad that it's over although Paratani has me a little concerned that another highly dominant list has taken its place.
2) This is a very personal thing so I am going to get some heat for this. I dislike it when people irrationally discount or dislike a ship based on where it came from or what it did. For example, I've seen a few people who say the Ghost is a terrible ship on the basis that it comes from 'that kids show' AKA Star Wars Rebels, same for the TIE Fighter. There was also this with the Quadjumper when it was announced; people commenting that it barely got any screen time and it got blown up. I thought that was a bit of 'double standards much' since the B-Wing was on screen for all of 4 seconds and its big moment was to open its wings...big whoop.
U-boats aren't completely dead, though they aren't meta anymore. I took first at a (relatively small) tournament a couple weeks ago with mindlinked uboats, and marcel took second IIRC at chicago with them.
#2 I'll mostly agree with. There are ships I don't especially WANT added to the game because I don't care about them (such as the N1 that I know other people are looking for), but if they end up in game I won't whine about it and I'll happily fly them if I like what they do with it.

Are they Broken, broken or just broken?
I hate brokenception plagues in this forum.
I thought of a new one!
I hate that they did not create MEDIUM bases for ships like the Punisher, ARC, K-Wing, Aggressor, U-Wing, G1-A, and a few others... MEDIUM BASES.
The following irk me to a tremendous degree:
-'Ordinance' instead of 'Ordnance'
-'Fire Control Systems' instead of 'Fire Control System'
-'Comms Relay' instead of 'Comm Relay'
-Y-Wings (and other 1-agility ships) consistently evading
-Checking for Target Locks when it is very obviously out of range (such as turn 1)
-Whinging about Palpatine and/or Manaroo
-Increasingly lenient and vague requirements for folk thinking a ship needs to be 'fixed'
-Fan-made 'fixes' that are just carbon copies of existing ones (or functionally so), but for different ships
-Any suggestion of giving the X-Wing the Boost action to 'fix' it
-'Buzzword' phrases such as NPE or DoA; doubly so when they start getting thrown around before ships have even been released
-Biggs' clunky, badly designed ability that has held Rebels (and the X-Wing in particular) back for ages with how easily it could break the game
-Bo'Shek. Seriously, **** that card. I hate everything about it's design
-(Vassal) Opponens using the tokens I have clearly set up for my own ships
-The f&^%$£* Assault Gunboat. It will never be added to the game, and the small-but-vocal fan club is getting tiresome

I would love to see FFG use their LCG release model for ships. Release a new one once a month.

Totes
New models that will not fit in my current storage system.

I think those would be my pet-peeve. Never being able to quite line up the movement...

That's a little stronger than I'd put it but I very much dislike that card strictly on its face. (Haven't played against it yet.) I also hate that I can't articulate why I don't like it. Something on the lines of what is referred to as sente in Go.

For me, it's because it allows your opponent to change your set dials (granted they don't choose the new move), which is a big no-no. It also neccesitates either remembering not only the moves a ship can do (difficult enough already) but also the order they appear on the dial (which is not consistent across all ships - the Jumpmaster is a prime example), or find the table real estate (already at a premium) for dial references.
I don't like anything about the mechanics the card adds to the game, and I very much hope it doesn't become commonly used.

Not a peeve, but reading this with Comedian Lewis Black as MalusCalibur's voice made me chuckle.
I got a new one the design decisions in Wave 9. But my first one is popular so I'll stick to that. It is better to be popular than be right, right?
My pet peeve may not be with the game itself, but comes from some people who play it and follow it. I really dislike those 'unboxing' videos all over Youtube. I'd understand if it was like card games when you buy a booster pack and didn't know what you were going to get and wanted to share your surprising discoveries, but these guys are like 'Well let's see what is inside this box that I bought today', while the rest of us are thinking 'WE ALREADY KNOW!! Everyone has already known about every single one of the contents of that box for a long time well before it came out! You should've already known what was in the box by now! Why should I waste time watching a 15-minute video about something that has no surprises or useful insight and ideas!?'
There are some guys that give suggestions and tips for each upgrade, ship, and pilot as they show it which makes it a bit worthwhile. But there are others who just zoom through the contents and just leave with a thank you message for watching them open up a box and shift through a few cards without saying anything useful. I don't even bother now but it stills annoys me seeing 4 or 5 unboxing videos about the same product whenever a new wave comes out.
That's my 2 cents.

Its a leftover from when we didn't know, a good way to have all that information in one place (because FFG doesn't provide that and the X-Wing wiki is a pain to navigate) and usually there are one or two unspoiled cards per pack.
I just thought I should add how much I hate TLT spam. TLT spam's return to my meta has really cut my enjoyment levels by about 50%. Before their return, I had roughly 10 lists that I enjoyed playing to bring every week and now I'm down to about 2-3 that don't just immediately get trashed by them. I hate how I almost always have at least 18 dice coming in at me regardless of flying for the most part. It is extremely difficult for tournaments too because not only do I have to find a list that can beat all the regular stuff, but also the TLTs. While I do enjoy a challenge, it is extremely frustrating to find a list that can beat the meta only to have that list get demolished by TLTs. Especially since I have a chronic tendancy to go into analysis paralysis whenever I'm trying to find the right list. I can't count the number of great lists I've shelved for tournaments because there is a possibility of encountering TLT spam...
The thing that bugs me the most whilst playing are people who use the phrase "Oh so you're running away?" whenever I decide to pull a ship out of a furball. I get it a lot and it still stings whenever someone says it to me, I have to often explain that I'm not running away just simply trying to get out of their arc and reposition my ship because odly enough I don't want it to be destroyed. I just can't understand why people say this in a game where tactical movement is so important.
