Thoughts? Lots of black dice once the MC-30's close - which is what the Pelta is for. It can then aim for a 6 black punch if needed too. Squads are maneuverable but may be prone to getting tied down. That said, it only needs one to get within Distance 1.

It's solid. Though I'd switch the Expanded Launchers for APTs and take Raymus on the Pelta. Spam CF commands and use Ahsoka/Raymus to get that Nav token for entrapment formation every turn. You'll be getting 3 blacks at range with the Pelta and APT possibilities. Works like a charm, and this would actually be the list that I bring to the SanAn Regionals, pending how my other list fairs this weekend. Might trade Han for another flotilla and a bid

Id also be thinking of changing the XI7s to Intel officers. Against an enemy with evades, it will be tricky to make the damage stick at long range. Even with the black dice, it will still be little bits of damage. So, play the longer game and make them burn their tokens if they want to use them.

yep - might try Raymus as you suggest. Keeping Han as I don't need a bid, my Objectives all help me considerably and I'm more than happy to go first.

Not that interested in staying at long range - the XI7s are for the 6 black at short range.

So then maybe by the time you get there.. they won't have that redirect you're hoping to reduce with the XI7s.. or maybe it's no brace...

if he has a 3rd APT, that means he has a 3rd MC30, and that might just be better than a Pelta at this point.

Perhaps, pending playstyle. However, the entrapment formation with MC30s allows them to CF instead of Naving (combined with SFOs makes this even more reliable). Additionally, you'd still have the 3rd APT on the field, and it lets the 30s make huge speed changes (Nav command, token, EF!).
