Simultaneous Fire Interuption

By FourDogsInaHorseSuit, in X-Wing Rules Questions

So I'm fairly certain that this is covered under the simultaneous fire rule but I'm just double checking :

Two ps3 Green squadron pilots, Alice and Bob, are up against Quickdraw (McGraw). Alice shoots Quickdraw, hits and removes a shield, and Quickdraw gets to attack. Quickdraw shoots back at Bob, killing him dead.

Does Bob still get to shoot this round because we're in the ps3 firing band? It's not really much different than if he had been blown up by a ps3 ship, just a ps9 double-dipping.

Thank you!

Yes he would. It's still all at the PS 3 firing zone.

PS. Would you still be asking the question if the PS values were somehow reversed so you had a pair of PS 9s where one shoots another ship which then kills the other PS 9 which hasn't gone yet?

The simultaneous fire rule is tied to the PS of the currently active ship. Quickdraw's attack is an out of activation attack occurring during Alice's activation activation. Since Bob shares Alice's PS, he is allowed to take a shot before being removed.

Thank you.

This is a good question. Since I don't fly Imps a lot , I'd rather have it asked/answered here than on a gaming table.
