Even don't liking this ship (at all), I put some thought on it. From the Wikia :

I'd change it to "you must treat 1-turn maneuvers as red", because they can still take Twin Ion Engine MK II. to negate the one you suggested, and it is also a stronger debuff (for -2 points).

For the offensive part, I'd change it to the HLC wording " Immediately after rolling your attack dice , you must change all of your critical results to hit results. "

That Chewbacca shuttle tydirium is grossly overcosted. The base cost of the cheapest pilot is 21 and three points of pilot skill would be +1 or +2 points. Add +1 point for an EPT-slot and +1 poiint for a pilot ability and the total should land at minimum 24/25 points. If at 25 the modification should probably be free. Even then this is a hard sell since the U-wing is a lot better

I'd make the modification into a title instead and have it do something else and then add "Fake transponder codes" as a modification that does the same (no targetting).

Also I'd change the pilot ability to read "After you execute a white or green maneuver you may remove one red target lock token from your ship".

Also, an idea for a rebel only crew:

The inspiration comes from Palob but with the limitation that it does not steal the token. And as an additional reward, if you manage to keep the enemy ship in arc you also get to deal it one stress. The two slot limitation is to prevent overt abuse by limiting it to large ships only.

I think you would just have to add "you may perform this action even while overlapping other while", or " you may perform actions ships overlapping other ships", though this has more of an advantage.

Then again, I could be wrong, it might trigger anyway, but I feel like it wouldn't.

I suppose the question is can you not perform actions while overlapping, or do you lose your action phase/subphase.

You lose your action phase. The more pressing issue however, is that if you fly straight into the center, you cannot barrel roll if the template touches. I prefer using something like "This barrel roll ignores obstacles."

• I used this program to calculate the cost: Link.

• Using the modification slot was meant to mimic the "Captured TIE" upgrade which was the original idea "Captured Shuttle" instead of "Shuttle Tydirium."

• Making it a straight maneuver in the pilot ability is more like the "fly casual" theme of the ability than any white or any green maneuver.

Your Door Gunner is interesting, but I would make it a (limited) Crew and much cheaper (1 point). And only working outside your firing arc.
