I don't know if it occurred to you, but the boost-system combo is more like a TIE Striker, which is more maneuverable as a result.
Well, with the game so bloated, we are running out of options... I just want to avoid the free-action creep and the "condition" abomination.
Well neither of those was one of the choices, so I'm not sure why you bring them up, but what I meant was I was leaning towards your system and boost version, rather than your plus one speed version.
I was looking at this escape pod and I have to tell you I don't understand the last phrase, if possible, when is that not possible? Wouldn't it be simpler to say a ship range 1-2 gains 2 crew slots and you can equip your crew on them, maybe discard 2 upgrades there, or do you mean a friendly ship with crew slots and you are swapping crew? You do know there is an escape pod token right?
For escape pods, I think it could be interesting to have it be an action, that way it adds an element of risk, as well as it being more realistic, as the crew would have to run to the pod, instead of working on making the ship run.
But it's just an idea.
