Not new to X Wing but never been competitive. This is more of a fun list, wondering how it would do against meta lists and what people's thoughts are on this list for the good ol' Scyk's! Wondering how well Snap Shot would work with them as I've only recently started using it.

I'd advice against it. Cannon scyks want to be snipers thowing fire from range 3 whenever possible.

With snap shot, you have to get up close and personal, and the scyk is still fragile despite the errata upgrade to the title.

And no, a boost (or barrel roll), whether from tractor or action, don't trigger snap shot.

Boost is not a maneuver so it does not activate snapshot. Daredevil or SLAM will activate snap shot. Assuming you have the models, I'd rather fly this:
