So as I get into this awesome game...what is the best next fix?

Stop this madness.....really.....haha, but really, stop. I need no push in my addiction, I need help staying somewhat clean.

Just wait until you tun into that guy in a back alley...you know, the guy with the really big trench coat. He will open up one side of that huge coat and hold it out, and inside will be a veritable marketplace of small plastic blisters, each one containing a new ship, squadron pack, flotilla or maybe even a boxed core set, if the coat is big enough.

Don't lie to yourself, you know you will buy them all. Nobody leaves that alley clean.

NOBODY

In all seriousness though, just buy what you want if you are playing casual. Fly what appeals to you, and don't netlist unless you are prepared to start shoveling cash around!

Oh god, that is what I'm doing. I can manage 2v2 with semi-decent options, but I'm not going to be able to manage 3v3 without leaving some players with absolute nonsense fleets.

Which is fine, since I think we might get as many as 4 total players.

Yeah, being the Don isn't much fun in the collecting catagory; money-wise, or storage. Most friends I have shown/played they game with are starting to take the plunge and get the Starter set or some ships. I hope so, this pew-pew awesome game takes bigger bites to your monetary supply than X-Wing. But capital ships are way cool!!

I have read up a bit on the Gladiator SD, I just have to get beyond the iconic missing spear tip, haha.

It has TWO spear tips :)

Get a rogues and villains for the falcon, always entices people into a game. I would also second the Intereictor and basically as many triangles as you can afford!

---> GET DICE<---

After the core i got the ISD and home one, then gladiator and MC30, then rebel and imperial fighter 1 packs. I got them purely for aesthetic reasons. I will never get the butt ugly assault frigate (what does it need 400 meter long wings on it for anyways?) nor the pelta because they don't fit my idea of Star Wars. (Basically if it's not in the movies it better damn well be a cool looking ship to me to purchase)

Problem is now balancing the upgrades and fighter points to stay at 400.

It it was the perfect way to expand IMO.

Next is corellian conflict to give the games more meaning and entertainment. Maybe some more fighter 1 packs since you stupidity only get 2 of each type per pack.

edit: stupid autocorrect

LGS was lean, so, I just ordered Rogues and Villians, Home One and two Imperial Light Cruisers from CSI. Gladiators are running scarce, though the local guy said next week perhaps. And I'll keep reading on this forum about the interdictor; I'm still on the fence about how she works exactly; I'll figure it out, with help, maybe, sometime...enough to want to get one.

Yeah, I completely agree with you on the "butt ugly assault frigate." If I ever saw it in a movie, it was a one second screen shot with it in the background. It is incredibly NON-Star-Wars-y.

And the Pelta or Phoenix? Yeah, I don't like that at all; not the Ghost either. Other than the Advanced TIE Prototype, I think the cartoon ships of the show Rebels is just that: cartoonish. It's like they were designed by proxy with the use of a six year old's crayons only star ship design contest. Not good....just say no. Please stop.
