So, here's a thought. Since Rune Age has disappeared from the Runebound Roster page, I'm guessing that the game will shortly be discontinued and that they'll rerelease Runewars the boardgame as RuneAge, with updated rules and components, sometime in the near future.

Probably not. They may eventually make a new board game, but I doubt that would be soon and I see no reason to use the RuneAge name.

I wouldn't be against a new version of Runeage the boardgame coming out. The end edition game is great and it's managed to hit my table a lot more than the whopping 0 times I've managed to get Twilight Imperium out. I'd be happy enough to lose the hero/questing mechanic and instead focus on the combat and base building.
