The C-ROC Cruiser (detailed in No Disintegrations ), based off of the Gozanti hull, has the same four twin retractable heavy laser cannons mounted somewhere on the sides. Since the tops of the port/starboard fairings appear to be for cargo pods, does that mean that the lasers are likely to drop down from the same places where the Imperial carrier version of the Gozanti mounts the docking clamps? If not, were would you suggest that these weapons are housed? Does anybody have a picture of a C-ROC (or even a standard Gozanti) with these weapons extended for use?
Where are the twin heavy laser cannons on the C-ROC Cruiser?
Canon wiki entry lists two twin turrets, not four. Pics below.
That's the "Imperial freighter" variant, not the standard Gozanti from AoR Core and Fly Casual . The standard version doesn't have engines merged into the wings and has much more firepower (although it's all retractable).
You're right, the C-ROC version is different, although the pics I posted yesterday are based on the standard variants. You can Google it yourself to verify that the Imperial freighter model and the AoR CRB and FC (stock Gozanti) models are essentially identical in appearance. Below is one of the better images of the C-ROC model...
None of the C-ROC pics available online show any weapons whatsoever. Not even screen captures of the Star Wars Rebels episode(s) where the ship has been seen.
The standard Gozanti mounts its engines on a horizontal spar that sits aft of the side fairings rather than on a wing that extends back from the fairings.
I said "based on". Now you're just nit-picking a truly trivial difference. The Imperial (military) version just extends the coverage of the amidships "wings" to merge with the aft wings of the civilian version. Besides that, and the four TIE docking clamps on the underside, the two non-CROC variants (Imperial and civilian) are pretty much the same externally. Internally, the compartment arrangement probably differs quite a bit, since the Imperial version has to accommodate the passageways to the TIEs and the commensurate reduction in cargo space (since the docklng clamp access is where the main cargo hold on the civilian model is located).
