1st Question. So if you have The Captured TIE Card and use Black Market Slicer Tools, does that count as an attack and negate the Captured TIE Mod? Or is it an Action:?

Enemy ships with a pilot skill value lower than yours cannot declare you as the target of an attack. After you perform an attack, or when you are the only remaining friendly ship in play, discard this card.

Now if you perform an attack it goes away, however using Black Market Slicer tools is an Action: not an Attack.

ACTION: Choose a stressed enemy ship at Range 1-2 and roll 1 attack die. On a hit or a critical hit result, remove 1 stress token and deal it 1 facedown Damage card.

2nd Question. If it does count as an attack, does it make the Stealth Device go away.

Increase your agility value by 1. If you are hit by an attack, discard this card.

It is very fuzzy on whether or not Actions that do damage count as attacks. I look forward to your comments.

Actions are not attacks, even if they do damage. BMST is an action, not an attack. It does not discard Captured TIE. It does not discard Stealth Device if you deal damage with it.

That was my thinking to, just preparing for the eventual arguments during my first match when i get Sabine's TIE

I plan on running my Ahsoka with BMST + VI. Her primary job will be to hand out actions. But in the event she can't do that (out of position etc.) or because I don't need her to give an action; she'll have the BMST to keep my opponent on his toes. If it shuts down some PTL shenanigans from fear of being sliced, then great.

You could even run ahsoka with vi, captured tie, slicers, and rey crew so she always gets a focus even if bumped and can then give an action to herself or a friend every turn.
