My dice were ever -so-slightly worse than average (expected) and his were about as average (expected) as you could... well... expect.

The reason that I threw so many more red dice is that I had PS 8 and 9 pilots versus his one PS 6 and two PS 1's... I used barrel roll a lot to keep out of arc and I often PS killed him. He threw a lot of greens because of defenders. :-)

It certainly did not help that he over shot the initial alpha strike as he thought I would not turn in so close to the rocks so I had two of my three guns (both PS 9 Tie/SF) pointed at a Delta defenders side with exactly none of his ships having any of mine in arc on the first turn of combat. 5 hits when through on that defender and it was down to 1 hull, which I then finished off the next turn without it ever rolling a single red die in the game. Not good for a Tie/D defender with ion cannon.

When I turned in, I think he felt I could not turn tight enough without clipping the rock, so he figured I was going straight and slightly away from him and he was gaining distance by going fast straight to keep out of the rear arcs of my Tie/SF. BUT with them both executing hard 2 turns, I got them in range 2 of the delta. Two Target locked Homing missile shots with Guidance Chips and expertise on Quickdraw. He was doomed from then on. Could not catch up to losing a Tie/D defender on the alpha strike.

I'm coming for epic, traffic is a pain though.

I know we are starting the Mario Kart League at some point.

I plan to be there to play some xwing this Friday and may have Linda with me. Trying to get her comfortable enough to convince her to play in the Campaign Against Cancer Tourney in Vancouver, WA.

Doji... can you and I talk about maybe having Game Matrix host this in 2018?

VASSAL xwing just got a HUGE improvement with autobumping added. It's literally easier to handle bumping in VASSAL now than it is in real life.
