Where: The Game Matrix
When: Fridays at 7pm

2/3 100 point xwing and armada
2|7 100 point xwing and xwing Mario kart 《30points》see rules below
2/17 100 point xwing
2|24 100 point xwing and epic/team epic 《400/300》points

MARIO KART RULES:

1. During the first two rounds, no actions or upgrades may be used, no attacks made, and no damage or tokens can be dealt. Maneuvering only!
2. The track edge is treated as a wall. Maneuvers will be completed until they bump the wall (similar to a ship bump) then roll one red dice and suffer any effects. One the next turn, the player may attempt a normal maneuver, or perform a white reverse 1 straight or bank.
3. Re-spawning returns your ship to play with full shields and no damage, behind the most recently passed check-point. Discarded cards are regenerated after each lap (not just ordnance; may find uses for things like Hot Shot Blaster, Lightning Reflexes, etc). Exception: Boba Fett (crew) permanently removes himself and another card from the game.
4. Bumping during a race is extra dangerous and causes each bumped ship to roll a red dice and suffer any rolled damage. Standard bumping rules apply (no actions or shooting the ship you are touching).
5. Each player chooses 1 hazard (asteroids, debris, bombs) to place before the race. Hazards cannot be placed before the indicated area, or within range 1 of any other object (other hazards, items, turrets). All standard rules apply to the hazards regarding game effects. After a player completes a lap, that player may place one additional hazard behind the last-place player, following the above rules.
6. When a player's template or ship crosses an item, that player draws a card. A player cannot draw a card if they already have one. Flip the item marker face-down. At the end of the turn, flip face-up any item markers.
7. You have 30 points to spend on a ship plus upgrades. Lone Wolf is banned, and players cannot perform Cloak or SLAM actions (effectively banning Cloaking Device and Burnout SLAM). Small based ships only.
8. Turrets shoot at each ship possible, at PS12. Turrets roll 3 attack dice and turn one eye into a hit. Ships defend normally.
9. Track edges count as obstructions for shooting. So you CAN shoot through walls (it is just obstructed).
10. Deployment will take place behind the marked start line and will start with the ships with the fewest number of points, ties will be broken by pilot skill with lower PS placing first, further ties will be determined by dice roll.
11. Activation and combat phases use standard pilot skill rules.
12. The winner is the first ship whose base fully passes the finish line after the predetermined number or laps. Ties are broken by furthest distance across the line, further ties broken by final salvo.

Sorry fuzzy can't make it this Friday anymore. Work decided to have a new bike buyer night after all.

But short of catastrophe will be there for Mario cart.

I should be there tomorrow.

We might have the new wave 10 stuff before tomorrow night. I'm torn between trying out new stuff and running a current list that I want to test for tournaments coming up.

I'm back in the giant world wide Vassal league, so I have lots of matches coming up this month.

I'm deciding if I want to play in tournaments in either Bremerton or Redmond this Saturday.

I should do the cassel league. Still haven't figured out how to make a list but figured out the rst.

Anybody for MLS fantasy football?

I have a team started and a few buddies that do MLS Fantasy casually each year. We can merge buddies together?

We should skype sometime and I can show you.

I got all the rest of wave 10 yesterday:

A second U-wing (I have a list I want to try with two of them)
1 Upsilon Shuttle (the model looks AWESOME)
2 Quad Jumpers
2 Sabine's Tie Fighter

No one showed up to play xwing on Friday (2/3) I was there from 7pm to 9pm and watched the two Armada matches and then went home.

Saturday I went to Dragon Hoard in Silverdale and played in small 9 person tournament. Finished 3rd overall but officially 2nd as the TO disqualified himself from any winnings. I got some store credit and paid the difference to purchase a 3rd Uwing. I'm swimming in acrylic tractor beam tokens now. If anyone wants to trade a few for other acrylic tokens, I'd be interested.

I could use a few

Got snowed in anybody for a vassal game.

So far so good looks like I will make the race.

What is official start time for race?

I won't be entering the race. I'm playing Armada with a player that couldn't make it last week.

Chicken....

I've already won a race. You need to win to get to the Flower Cup to challenge me.

I also have not made the second track or a second deck of power ups. I bought all the materials ($30) to make another track, they are sitting at home and I planned to get it all ready the last two nights and have been too busy... so maybe I'll have two tracks available next time.

So since 7-8 is probably the limit on a track... I'd like to give first dibs to people who have not tried it yet. A few people have asked to play who haven't yet so I'd like to allow them the option first. THAT said... if last week is any indication, there is no telling who will and won't show up.

I've been out for a bit, but I'll be back tonight!

I'm in, was going to come for last race, but took a while for me to thaw from my dad's bday.

I would just say that for league play we should have everyone check-in by 7:00 and start races promptly at 7:30pm for league.

ALSO note to the store that we need one table for each race/track on those nights. I know that generally Friday nights is first come, first serve and everyone seems to get along great and respects others playing various games (Warhammer/Xwing/etc)... BUT if we are running a league then we must have the space for those who are paying participants an the specified Friday's.

Locking down tables should not be am issue. I spoke to John about the league he was fine with it as long as we burn one I'd the older game night kits. Summer 2016 or winter 2015.

I will add the start time to the list so far 1 email on sign up here we go.

Okay looks like I have a 50/50 shot of making it Friday for a game.

Also going to try and nail down the Mario car leaflgue so I Gan get it to John tpost on store facebook and also will see if earthworm can to.

I won't be there this week. I have a family event with my future family.

I need to sign up for the Mario Kart league coming up.

I have played two VASSAL matches in the last week in the League (Hoth Division). Used my triple defender list in the first match and got beat up... here was the matchup:
Escrow notification Sephlar vs United99
Sephlar
Colonel Vessery + Tractor Beam + Adaptability + TIE/D
Onyx Squadron Pilot + Ion Cannon + TIE/D
Delta Squadron Pilot + TIE/x7
(99)

United99
Norra Wexley + Push the Limit + Alliance Overhaul + R2-D2 + Vectored Thrusters + Kyle Katarn
Rey + Inertial Dampeners + Expertise + Millennium Falcon (2) + Smuggling Compartment + Finn + Kanan Jarrus
(100)

I killed Norra at the cost of my entire list. It was ugly... I lost 41-100

Then tonight I played the second match in Hot division tonight trying a new list:

Escrow notification Sephlar vs PoultryBane
Sephlar
Quickdraw + Expertise + Special Ops Training + Collision Detector + Guidance Chips + Homing Missiles
Backdraft + Veteran Instincts + Special Ops Training + Collision Detector + Guidance Chips + Homing Missiles
Omega Leader + Juke + Comm Relay + Stealth Device
(100)

PoultryBane
Captain Jonus + Fleet Officer + Hotshot Co-Pilot + Wired + Twin Ion Engine Mk. II + Tie Shuttle
Delta Squadron Pilot + Ion Cannon + Twin Ion Engine Mk. II + TIE/D
Delta Squadron Pilot + Ion Cannon + Twin Ion Engine Mk. II + TIE/D
(99)

My list is called "Delta Killer" and it did just that. in the alpha strike I fired on Delta #1 with Quickdraw and Backdraft in a way the he was not expecting and none of his ships had arc. I got that delta down to 1 hull left on first turn. Then jousted up on second turn and killed off the delta #1 before it ever fired and my other two ships had Captian Jonus in arc and started landing hit then crit. Then I got ioned (QuickDraw but managed to barrel roll him from getting ioned again and forced split fire while I had all guns on Jonus and finished him. AAAANNND it's easy to kill a Defender in 2 turns with three ships pointing at him even if one is getting ioned. 100-0 win. Sitting at 1W-1L in 5th place of a 10 person division with 7 matches to go (everyone plays each other division opponent once).
