Can I add an additional player (a 4th one, in addition to the GM) if we have the Adventurer's Toolkit available?
Also, would the introductory adventure would be too easy with more than 3 players?

yes you can add a forth
Do you mean "Eye for an Eye" or "Day Late, Shilling Short" when you say 'introductory adventure'? DL,SS might be too easy, but you could add more waves of enemies, and besides, it's mean to be a true demoto teach the rules even more than to provide a play session. Eye, on the other hand, seems fine for four.

I was thinking about both actually
Thanks for the info! By the way, won't we be short of dice with 4 players?
There is going to be some dice sharing even with 3 players and a GM. The main dice I wind up asking for are the White and Black (forturne and misfortune dice). When a player with armor uses an active defense the GM needs most of the blacks to attack with monsters. Same is true when PCs attack the better monsters.
Keep praying for FFG to release the dice set asap, and pre-order 3-4 of them, just to be sure. Then give them to your fellow players for their birthdays (in advance).
I still have a hard time to understand why FFG didn't produce the dice set accessory at the same time as the Core set, it'd have be nice and very useful. And I hope they won't be out of stock a vefore receiving them.
