Just need a rules clarification. In a recent video it was mentioned that if the character equipped with One With the Force is defeated that the die stays in the pool instead of returning to the card like with Redeploy upgrades. Hoping someone can confirm/deny this for me as I couldn't seem to find anything applicable in the rules documents

I don't know the answer to this but it would seem like a weird inconsistency.

The die stays in the pool due to the wording ("before").
With redeploy the die is removed from the pool because equipped character is actually defeated and the redeploy keyword says "after", so it triggers when the character is already out of the game.
So, One with the Force becomes a ready support, and its die stays in the pool if still there when the character is defeated or goes onto the card if it was on the defeated character card.

I would tell you it's right there in black and white, but it's actually red. Hint: look for a section that addresses individual cards.
