Just want to double check before I chose this build for a duel that any of the FAQ changes in the past 6 months haven't nerfed the potential ability for R7 to make use of the TL acquired by the declaration of that attack instance.

If someone could please kindly verify my thoughts that the timing windows should be fine it would be much appreciated.

Yes, this works fine.

Do it all the time. Also works with M9G8, against every attack, but only 1 die.

R7 only works once per round so if he only gets shot at once its superior to M9G8 but if hes focused R7 wont help more than once.

I test flew against a titled Y wing last night and forgot about using R7 the whole game, and lost when we were both at 1 remaining hull point.

Thinking it might serve me well if I remember to use R7 next time ?
