card advantage is mainly for rerolls if you roll well regularly you wont really notice if like me you roll crappy you are counting the cards sometimes as how much you can reroll combined with cards you really need to keep. Vader is so amazing not because of the fact that he is forcing a discard but because you have one less card every round to reroll and therefore on average you reroll less and dont god roll as much. Luke is very YOLO burning through his deck one card faster in order to get those 3 melees to pop up.

Dooku can force the mill faster than Vader. Card advantage in this game is forcing your opponents no cards to play with. Reroll are good, but consistent decks and good players limit use of them.

poe with finn is poe and EFinn if it was the other way around I think poe would be great right now.

I think the problem with Poe decks right now is that the only way he has access to yellow elite is with a hired gun. Yellow has the falcon and cunning and detonator. With a two die poe you get specials a lot more often. I also think throne room is a good BG for POE.

Lets say you get a poe special with falcon and you use it and have the resources to play falcon now you will get to have resolved its amazing die twice in the turn. Thats amazingly powerful and efficient.

What you say is gravy I say is really overpowering right now the only good hero ship is the falcon and you can't optimally combo poe well with yellow I think when we see some more yellow characters and some more ships the double support resolve in one turn will really make poe strong. I just dont like poe red/blue with a melee range split and no access to vehicles.

I don't personally think Poe/Finn is the best way to go, I got better results with Rey. Yes, the shenanigans you get with the yellow are great (a 3 ressource Falcon being the best contender, but Poe is more than just bringing the Falcon for cheap. If what you want is bring the Falcon fast, I think you'll generally be better served with Ackbar and 2 Hired Guns) but the Blue is also very surprising with cards like Mind Probe, Force Throw or One with the Force, or even a lightsaber for 2 unblockable damage. There is plenty to do with Blue upgrades with Poe, it might just not be that obvious.

Poe/Rey reminds me a lot about Han/Rey, but with more punch. And since you know that Poe will be targetted first, you pick your upgrades mainly for Rey and build her up while they kill Poe.

But anyway, it's pretty obvious that you won't change your mind, and neither will I. I consider Poe a great character in the game and I think you can build a very good aggro deck with him. With his ability and a decent deck, his die is actually showing 3 damage face, one of these can be as high as 5, more likely it will be 2-3, sometimes nothing.

The benefit of Vader, which is no secret, is that he can also punch you in the face while forcing you to mill (albeit slowly). It's very consistent, and has the fringe benefit of preventing TOO much Hyper-loop shenanigans.

Dooku is great for burst milling, and pairs pretty damn well with someone throwing consistent focus to make sure Dooku's dice are where you want him.

I'm working on a Vader deck now, mostly because I love me some Vader, but I think Dooku is going to be my actually GOOD deck down the line.

Capt Phasma can do that! eDooku/ePhasma!

I was more thinking eJabba, he's a bit more synergistic in terms of dice and ability, but ePhasma does bring some fun red cards into play (Personal Escort is something I LOVE slapping on Dooku, for example). But Yellow has some of the best "splash" cards around, so eDooku/eJabba would generally > eDooku/ePhasma, in the current meta.

I tried my e-Dooku, Trooper, Trooper deck in a tournament. Went 1-2. I barely lost one of them though. I think that it's time to scrap that deck.
